Really enjoyed the location and the vibes of Canary Hotel! I felt very welcomed by the staff and the food was fantastic, I enjoyed the pool quite a lot in my time and it's nice that all the rooms have a patio/balcony to sit and relax :) it's also steps away from the beach which is obviously a beautiful bonus

The room was spacious, beautifully designed with earthy tones and local touches that felt both luxurious and authentic. Room - restaurant - bar and the sea one step away! The Manager, the girls at the service, the boys at the bar, the maid, all of them polite with a warm smile satisfied our every need. The location where this brand new hotel is built is ideal for those who love walking next to the waves! The sea water and its colors were wonderful!!! Put a swimsuit, shorts, sunscreen, hat in your bag, wear a wide smile and you will have a great time in this little paradise. The menu is super ! The breakfast is the big surprise!!! A little while before the taxi came to pick us up, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner. My opinion is that he made a dream come true and for this reason the Dhow is a unique vacation for those travelers looking for peace and quiet away from the huge hotels.

This was our favorite hotel during our trip to Zanzibar (we stayed in four different places around the island). The resort is set right on the sand, with comfortable rooms equipped with a small fridge. The pool is lovely, and the staff are kind and attentive. We loved the peaceful beach, perfect for walks at low tide and the unforgettable sunsets every evening. In the evenings, we also enjoyed the warm atmosphere of the neighboring bar with its cozy fire and vibe. Excellent value for money overall! Absolutely recommend!

I liked the relaxing and calm atmosphere of the place. Guests live there but there is always more than enough space for everyone. The management is super friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with whatever request you have. The beach is very close and you will get a beach towel for free. The food is very tasty and the prices are very reasonable. I kept coming to this hotel for lunches and dinners even after I checked out and moved in to another area. The hotel is new, so it is very clean and cozy around. The interior design of the rooms is very beautiful. I would definitely stay there again!

Everything was incredible. From The welcoming staff who fetched us at the airport, to the amazing owner and his lovely wife, the cleaning staff, restaurant staff, security, and grounds staff were all simply amazing.
