The staff was great ! They treatment that I received was exceptional! Elizabeth particularly helped me to solve a few problems that I faced when I arrived at the country, and I am very much grateful for that! The room was very comfy and beautiful. I also had a view of the lake from my window. The breakfast was amazing, too. They always treated me so nicely when it was breakfast time. The view from the terrace is extraordinary! You should watch the sunset! The location is very good. Close to Entebbe airport and Victoria Mall of Entebbe. I definitely recommend this place !!!

Staff was supper helpful and nice specially Benjamin. The beds were comfortable and very well decorated room with water machine and net for the bugs. We liked it so much we ended up staying another night.

Very clean rooms and nice pool. Very friendly staff. Convenient location near the airport and easy to get to Kampala from here. Was welcomed warmly by the team of Jovia, Ketra and Hamza and other staff as well throughout the stay made me feel very welcome and made me wish I could stay longer. Unfortunately it was a quick work trip but will definitely be back and will recommend highly for those coming into Uganda.

I have stayed at K-Hotels (same room) 3 times now —> 2019 & 2021 with my wife & recently solo in 2022. All 3 stays were characterized by particularly Outstanding reception and „attention“ from the Front Desk Office. Particularly, shout out to Kenneth a very friendly & helpful Front Desk staff. Reservation was done last minute while boarding the flight to Uganda and still, I got the room I requested. Oh & the breakfast + VIEW is amazing. Will be back certainly!

What a wonderful stay at the African Roots Guesthouse! We arrived after midnight into Entebbe and they were right there to pick us up at the airport. We found it a wonderful peaceful place to spend and extra night after a very long flight. Charity was so warm and welcoming! Breakfast and dinner were amazing! Rooms were delightful and very clean. They even drove us into Entebbe town for a bit of shopping and lunch. Please stay if you arrive in Entebbe late and looking for a nice respite before beginning your Uganda safari.

The staff service and helpfulness were exceptional. The room was well appointed and I liked the high ceilings. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioner worked. The TV channel offerings were limited. The amenities only provided a small tube of shower gel. There was no shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, or shower cap. All my per-arrival requests were provided: hair dryer, iron and board.

We have been staying here when we arrive at the airport for years. They hired managers for awhile that didn’t do a good job so they have taken it back over and it’s wonderful. I love the location since it’s set in a quiet village near Lake Victoria. Staff has always been wonderful and food always good.

Entebbe is a beautiful town with lots of great restaurants. Great bars on the lake shores to enjoy a sundowner at. Easy to get around, and very friendly and helpful people. Nice shopping mall with nice food, ATMs and a grocery shop.

Entebbe is a good small city to visit, if you don't want the full Ugandan experience. Having said that, you will be able to easily find whatever you want there but you may miss the real Uganda. Entebbe is a nice and clean town with many tourist attractions to visit. I highly recommend leaving Entebbe to see the many other wonderful things in the Pearl of Africa. Njagala nnyo Uganda!!!
