After we visited Miami and Everglades, a great place to stop and rest before a long drive to Keywest for next day. Hotel looks relaxing and neat. The lady in the reception is very friendly too. They have unlimited free coffee, different kinds of tea and water refill as well. Rooms are big, clean and modern. Of course, sumptuous breakfast enough to energize us for another long day.. Special thanks to the ladies in the reception and housekeeping that when we left our tripod, we got it back the next day as we drive back to Miami.

The room was very clean and the bed sheets were super soft. Very well located, close to the Everglades and the Keys. Very friendly and kind staff. The parking spot is in front of the room and is for free, which was great. Breakfast is also included.

Nice 'retro' hotel (a bit MCM). Room was very nice and beds were comfortable. The staff were very nice and very professional (they were dealing with a bit of an emergency while we were checking in and did an excellent job of customer service).

good for the everglades and for affordable good italian or cuban food (Mario's), nearby also to Miami and Keys most affordable in the area for resting, dining and shopping (there's an outlet) for everglades, keys and Miami, plenty of fast food and starbucks etc, although some areas can be a bit sketchy so need to use car rather than walking

Wifi works very well. TV guide is understandable. Lobby store is well stocked and convenient. Gym and pool are clean. Friendly staff. Grew up in Miami and familiar with area. Candlewood is always my choice when visiting family and friends.

Homestead was a nice place.

Homestead was a nice place. It has a little gem of a beach, Homestead Bayfront park. For family’s very safe. Had it own little beach, little enclosed pool feed by the sea ideal for all kids. Life guards and facilities, including a bar. We found we were there on our own, most of the time. Lots of restaurants with a great variety of before you head south to the keys.

Title: Very Disappointing Stay – I Checked Out Immediately I recently booked a room at this Quality Inn in Miami and was extremely disappointed. The first room they gave me was dirty from top to bottom. The bathtub was dirty, the floors were so filthy I didn’t feel comfortable walking on them, and even the drapes on the windows were stained and dirty. The room also had a strong foul smell, and the TV was very small, maybe around 13 inches. The whole room felt cramped and outdated, maybe around 200 sq ft at most. I went back to the front desk to ask for another room. At first, I was told there were no rooms available on the first floor, but then they tried to move me to another room on the same floor. That second room also smelled bad and did not feel clean. The front desk lady who was helping at first was very rude and dismissive, which made the situation even worse. The only positive part of my experience was a staff member named Denisha. She was very kind, professional, and went above and beyond to help me get my money back when I decided not to stay. She was the only person who tried to make things right. They eventually showed me another room on a lower/underground level that was cleaner than the first two, but the décor, furniture, and overall setup were very old and worn out. On top of that, the area around the hotel did not feel safe and was very uncomfortable to be in. Because of the unclean rooms, bad odor, rude front desk experience, and the overall environment, I chose not to stay at this property. I would not recommend this hotel, and I will not be returning.

I like the area that’s it I hate it’s no breakfast pool nothing to do no computer room just nothing to do and the manager took things over board about my stay when all the other employees told me what to do the manager comes and makes my stay the wrost I’ll never ever stay here again waste of my money

Florida City in an are with constant improvement and upgrades. They really takes pride in building and maintaining and improving Florida City. The streets are safe to walk at anytime and are lined with restaurants and shops. There are fun things to do in Florida City. Love it!! Getting around Florida City is easy, the city trolley is Free, Uber is every where, the bus way max can take you to the metro rail station where you can take the train to the airport. Freebee rides are available via the freebee app. Love South Florida and Florida City the people, the hospitality, the culture and the ease of getting around!

While the staff at the hotel was friendly, the overall experience was disappointing. The room had cleanliness and odor issues, poor lighting, and lacked basic amenities like towels, which had to be requested. There was also no clear communication about breakfast options. Unfortunately, I don’t think I would return to a hotel like this, especially for the price I paid, there are many other options nearby with equal or better rates and much better standards. I expected more.

Overcrowded. They're building apts. everywhere. The worst part is that there are mostly lower income apts and/or they accept other lower income programs, so most the the people that move at these apts are not too decent.
