Diverse Sunshine State of Disney

The Sunshine State – Florida – has so much going for it that we hardly know where to begin! From Key West all the way to Jacksonville and Pensacola, this diverse state has magnificent beaches attracting beautiful people and exotic wildlife.

At its tip are the incredible Everglades, largely accessible only by air boat. East, Miami is known for its Latin American vibe and the Art Deco buildings of glamorous Miami Beach. Fort Lauderdale is nicknamed ‘Venice of America', while Palm Beach hosts the annual SunFest music festival. Panama City is a favourite Florida spring break destination, and Tampa has popular party spot Ybor City and Busch Gardens, one of many Florida theme parks.

The most famous are of course Walt Disney World, Epcot, SeaWorld and Universal Studios Florida. Orlando and neighbours Kissimmee and Lake Buena Vista house a wealth of Florida hotels near Disney parks. Room was gorgeous. You can hear the waves right from your room. The artwork was exceptional. You can tell a local artist was involved with the decor. View was stunning. I also loved the connection to Opal Sol next door. Just go through the glass walkway and you have access to more pools and an even bigger gym with sunrise views. The pool was amazing - you can hear the waves crashing from your chair. Poolside menu - great and drinks food delivered right to your spot. Great service. We also used the free bikes to explore the strip.

Our experience here were better than expected. The staff was really nice, the facilities were great, there are several pools to choose which is fantastic, my son loved them all. I have been going to Florida since I was a child. While we have mostly stayed in the outskirts of Disney and their main gates, the last few years we have ventured more into other burbs and Orlando. I-4 makes it easy to get from one end of Florida to the other. We enjoy Chinatown, Winter Garden, and Baldwin Park.

Any trip to Miami should include a visit to vibrant Bayside Marketplace for exciting music, a wide selection of fantastic eateries/drinkeries, and great shopping. Plus, for a really memorable evening, if you enjoy Latin music and dancing, don't miss dinner and show at Mango's at South Beach. Just a short ride away but the experience is world's away from most people's normal lives. Make a reservation and get ready for great food and passionate costumed performers. Like a tropical Las Vegas revue with an infectious beat.

The beach was so big, beautiful blue water and loved relaxing in the sun. There are beach chairs and umbrellas for hire however they are quite expensive. Kasa el paseo has complementary chairs for the guests which is awesome as we saved money

Always a variety of food to eat. food is always a little pricey. if you like bars you're in the right place and little shops. depending on the time of year your down you can see a wide verity of things. if you are a people watcher this is the area to do it in, you never know what you might see

This is beautiful city to visit. It has different activities and places to visit for one andb all. The beaches are nice and clean and plenty of beach chairs and umbrella for rent for a fee which it's reasonable considering the location.

Wonderful place to explore.

Wonderful place to explore. Most items don't open till later in the day as they stay open later in the evenings. Lots of walking but worth it. Parking is very limited especially in the heart of the historic district. Lots of food options and items to look around/explore.

the transportation ($1 ride) was only available through...

the transportation ($1 ride) was only available through smartphone apps. since we dont have access to a smartphone we couldnt use it. But we loved the place, very convenient to get around even without a car.
