Stay here! From our very late arrival in the evening we were greeted by Red who was amazing and made us feel extremely welcome. The room was beautiful, the bed was like falling into a marshmallow and the amenities were exceptional. Jennifer at the front desk was a star. So polite and lots of knowledge about the area. The food at the sage restaurant was delicious. We didn’t want to leave.

I really enjoyed my stay, travelling alone on a road trip to fill a gap in schedules. Great fun place, my room was in the newish area but was still characterful, quiet and quite luxurious.. Dinner was interesting, quite an impressive dining room and a real experience. Breakfast ditto. Restaurant staff friendly and cheerful.. thanks they made me smile.. The gunfight was more for kids but was a bit of fun, all good and the bar after was quite wild.. good live music.. I recommend this hotel.. Parking easy, all the hotel staff were lovely and good fun, I really thought I had met Buffalo Bill in person when I came down for breakfast..

The place is really nice, very comfortable with a big room with two double beds, nice shower, all very clean and breakfast was good. The place had also a little pool, sauna and spa. They also created a nice area near the river with seats around a fire where you can rest, read a book or have a drink. Location is perfect because it is 5 minutes walk to the town center and near the entrance at Grand Teton NP. The also have a laundry which is very handy. We had a perfect stay!

We spent just one night in the hotel but I wish we would have stayed more. The location is a perfect cowboy-style village with large apartments with everything you need and more. The apartments are very big, warm, comfortable, all made of wood for the perfect gateway. The location is wonderful, quiet but in the center of the town and close to everything you need. Recommended

Love the friendly feel of the town and all the people we interacted with there. There are a ton of bike/walking trails to explore. Can pick any direction and just go. It was a bit colder than we expected at the end of October (high of 56F), but we were still able to get out and ride our bikes and enjoy the autumn colors. Everything is more expensive there, but it was still a great trip and worth the drive to get there.

I only live one hour away, and I have enjoyed Cody probably hundreds of times since moving to Greybull in 1978. The Buffalo Bill Museum is a national treasure, there are excellent restaurants, good shopping, and multiple coffee shops! I only have one complaint and it's a selfish one. Although Wayne's Boot Shop has a quality shoes, the selection is small. Otherwise, I LOVE Cody, even during the height of the tourist season--watching them, especially enjoying the museum, is great fun!

We were there first week in October, so we didn’t get the full experience because lots of the anemnities were not available. Some of the staff were friendly, but mostly our encounters with front office staff, horse riders area were rude. Our food servers were amazing, food was good but ridiculous expensive for what we received. The road construction from the village to Jackson was horrible, took 1.5 hours to go 12 miles. Gorgeous time of year to enjoy the miles of walking trails with beautiful views.

Outdoor activities such as riverside walking trail, fish hatchery tour, military museum, hike glacier trail to waterfalls, scenic overview. We had fun

Very convient location and the condo was beautiful. Well supplied with everything from zip lock bags to bear spray! It was clean, plenty of towels, and staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed and all questions answered. They even shipped back a small purse my daughter accidentally left behind. I can’t say enough! If I am blessed to go back to Jackson Hole, I will stay here again.

There is actually really nothing in Moran, other than Headwaters Lodge and Cabins and lots of natural beauty. You have to drive to go anywhere else to eat. We stayed 4 nights in our cabin, we ate dinner all 4 nights at the Lodge because we were to tired to trek anywhere else after hiking and exploring all day. We sat out back near the firepit most evenings at dusk and saw elk in the field below. The view of the Snake River valley is lovely and peaceful.

The pictures on Booking.com do not reflect the property.

The pictures on Booking.com do not reflect the property. Colter Bay Village had a general store and a good restaurant as promised. However, the cabin for $380.00 was only a room with attached small bathroom. The bathroom had a shower with dirty, moldy caulking in the shower and around the bathroom. The cabin had no refrigerator, no television, no wifi, just bed(s) with a stain on our sheets. The pictures on Booking.com were great and they talked a lot about Colter Bay Village but no where did they mention how RUSTIC and lacking the cabin was. I'm extremely disappointed with the cabin and with Booking.com.

Having visited more that 90 countries around the world, I can readily state that Jackson Hole, and surrounding area, is one of the most beautiful places I have encountered. I have now visited three times. Unfortunately, its popularity has boosted prices considerably. The town of Jackson is packed with excellent places to eat and shop; if you ever get bored of viewing the stunning landscapes, wildlife, etc. Don't miss checking out the windows of realtors/estate agents in town - the prices are unbelievable. And certainly don't miss visiting adjoining Grand Tetons National Park and, further north, Yellowstone National Park; although large parts of the latter are inaccessible in winter. The weather in Wyoming can change radically throughout the day, so take a range of clothing or layers. Allow plenty time to undertake your various activities and take account of the long distances between popular spots.

We've been to Cody quite a few times over 40 years. Fortunately it has stayed family friendly and hasn't become a "tourist trap". I have always loved the Buffalo Bill Center, was there in '76 when John Wayne was in town. Old Town and nightly rodeos are great attractions. PLEASE keep the small town vibe.

The Alpenhof is a terrible old creepy place!

The Alpenhof is a terrible old creepy place! Furnishings looked like something my great great grandparents in the 1800's would have had. Not clean, A/C did not get cold, the front desk clerk at check in was nowhere to be found for ten minutes and the one in the morning was sound asleep under her hoodie when my wife went down to find coffee (which when awakened, she told my wife not until 8 AM). No breakfast, no nothing - just an old, creepy, dirty, uncomfortable room with flies and a spider and about three electrical outlets, all full. Stay away from this dive!
