If you're going for the biggest garage sale, bring a good...

If you're going for the biggest garage sale, bring a good pair of walking shoes, sun screen, cash, drinks to hydrate and prepare for some great deals. If you're going for Lake George it's beautiful take a lot of photos. However beware parking is not your friend, inquire about the shuttle buses they have instead of fighting for a parking spot each day you go. In any case enjoy, we did.

I had to change rooms because the original room was up a flight of stairs which I would have difficulty with a bum leg, as it turned out the motel did not have a back door so I had to walk around the motel to get in the front door. not very convenient but over all the room was adequate. just barely.

Middle of everything! Great location. Close to great restaurants like the Diamon Point Grille-food was amazing, Lone Bull Pancake and Steak House restaurant was awesome for breakfast. UpNorth Deli is convenient.

Hague is a quaint and cool little town located right on the shoreline of beautiful and incredibly clean Lake George! We loved the Hague Market and the Silver Bay General Store for picking up last minute food supplies and great sandwiches for lunch and breakfast. One night, there was music in the Hague Public Park and beach with lots of food trucks and many food choices. Many adults and children enjoyed themselves, listening to music, playing ball, frisbee, etc.

I was looking for somewhere to stay for 1 night near Saratoga Race track. The prices are very high everywhere else. This was about 15 min away and the price was right. No bells or whistles but was perfect for what I was looking for.

We returned to the Olympian for the fourth time in late July...

We returned to the Olympian for the fourth time in late July and there are several reasons why. The scenery from their dock is gorgeous, the rooms are clean and comfortable, you can walk directly across the street to a great deli/store and restaurant and it's a short distance driving to Lake George Village and Bolton's Landing. You can either take a dip in the clean, clear waters of the lake or the huge pool and there is a recreation area with games and picnic area with grills. Wendy, the Motel Manager is extremely accommodating and friendly and we always look forward to seeing her. I would give this Motel five stars! James McHale

I have a strange bond with this lake.

I have a strange bond with this lake. I don't know why. used to live in upstate NY and have been here many times before. Since I was just a kid. Been to many other lakes but no bind with them. Maybe the history, Revolutionary war buff. I don't know.

The best thing I liked was the indoor water park and the worse thing was no cash accepted anywhere on the property. Also I think the prices for the gift shops and the food and the hotel room is a bit expensive, I feel like they could definitely benefit more from making it more affordable for families so we could afford to visit more than once or twice a season.

Comfortable.

Comfortable. A traditional Lake George resort that has been modernized and upgraded. Beautiful knotty pine rooms. Huge pool. Nice lake access. Friendly staff. We have been coming to LG for close to 30 years and never stayed here before. This will be our new favorite location.
