Our room was super clean and felt newly renovated. We loved the comfy bathrobes, the big bathtub, and the fireplace—it all made the stay extra cozy. Plus, we had a beautiful view of Haystack Rock right from our room! One of the best parts was how close the beach is—less than a 2-minute walk, which is amazing, especially with kids. We also booked the beach bonfire for $50, and it was such a fun experience. The staff set everything up and gave us everything for s’mores—sticks, marshmallows, graham crackers, and chocolate. It was the perfect beach night! There’s also a warm indoor pool and a hot tub on site, which our kids loved and we really enjoyed too. Honestly, this hotel feels like the most budget-friendly option in the area, but it delivers 100% and even more. Great value for the price. Excellent location despite the online booking which showed the location on the beach. We were within walking distance of the Prom and beach. Medford itself is a middle sized city with all the stores you might wish for but not a lot of character that I could see in the downtown area. However, it makes an excellent affordable launching pad for exploring the nearby artisan colony/ Shakespeare festival in Ashland and the nearby wine country in surrounding areas. Astoria is a fun place!
