This place exceeded expectations and I’m so happy we found it. We stayed at Dragonfly Motor Lodge after a day of hiking at Bryce Canyon. You are given a code and instructions via email for access to your room. The co-owner of the lodge happened to be outside and gave us a great recommendation for dinner (shout out to Backroads Bistro!).
We settled into our King bed room nicely. It’s a newly renovated place with retro-chic design and, most importantly, the room was spotless. The bathroom had brand new finishes and was super clean. They stock you up with all the towels and toiletries you need. Across from your bed there’s a flat screen TV, fridge and coffee/tea station. All-in-all you get the essentials for a comfortable stay at a reasonable price compared to other place around Bryce Canyon.

Very nice friendly lady who owns the place, checked that everything was ok. The little town has everything you could need, restaurants, gas station, grocery stores plus a few other little shops. It’s very safe and I walked around every day after dinner. Motel is in a great location as Bryce Canyon is only 20 miles or so a way.

It was a place I used while passing by on a long-distance travel itinerary. Actually, I went without much expectation, but it was a more spacious and comfortable home-like lodging than I thought. My trip was happy. We would have stayed longer if we had no other plans.

The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The family that owns the motel extremely nice. It is a great location when you visit Bryce Canyon and the town is very cute. The restaurant across the street serves a great breakfast.

The town of Panguitch is over rated.
The town of Panguitch is over rated. The motel wasn't as good as I expected and the area seemed to be run down. The restaurant we ate at was terrible. I doubt that I'd stay at the motel again and would not go to the same restaurant again. Most of the gas stations had their pumps roped off. It was very inconvenient.

There is not much in Hatch - we drove about 10-15 miles to Panguitch to Joe's Market for groceries. We did not have any meals in Hatch at whatever restaurants were there. Panguitch had several restaurants where we ate and enjoyed.

Nice little town. Could use a few more places to eat. A lot of motels to stay in and only 22 miles from Bryce Canyon. The people in the community are very nice. Panguitch lake is nice sized and beautiful.

Room was clean and thematic. Biker style. So it is bar table, high chairs and high bed, that was hard to climb in for my coworker, lol. It is convenient location to both parks Zion and Bryce Canyon, maybe a little bit closer to Bryce Canyon. The stay was good, the only thing they use cleaning chemicals with strong smell that gives headache. We used our wet wipes and it helps. It was no contact check in and check out. Shower and toilet work great, I love orange towels. There was cafe near by, but we didn’t have a chance to try it, maybe next time.

Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people.
Panguitch is a special place full of wonderful people. We were traveling through here when my husband was hospitalized for 5 days. Everyone, hospital staff, hotel owner, laundry mat, pharmacy, etc...were very helpful and kind. Cannot say enough good about it. My husband joked if he were younger, we would move there!

Hatch was a great location to spend the night and visit...
Hatch was a great location to spend the night and visit Bryce next day. Beautiful mountains in the distance. Short drive from park. No grocery in Hatch, so needed to visit neighboring town of Panguitch. We cooked breakfast and dinner at our rental. Made a lunch to take with us we spend the day in Bryce Canyon. No services in the park.
