The staff were extremely friendly and chatty when we arrived. We were upgraded to a giant room that was impressive - I felt like I wanted to stay more than one night! The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent - had more than we needed. The car park was big enough for us to park our car in and it was free - which was a bonus. Have already recommended this hotel to other friends thinking of coming to Lancaster.

I love that it has a pool, it’s a great way to keep the kids occupied and they also have a sauna for adults which is a plus! They also have a bar with pool table and a little section with an air hockey table and some claw machines which is fun as well. I really enjoyed that they had a bunch of grills out on the side of the building for guest to use to bbq which I think is great when traveling with family.

Interesting history of American Independence with the Liberty Bell. I would recommend doing one of the historic walking tours as this was a great way to see the main sites, as well as an open top us tour as it gives you an overview of the city and where the main points of interest are. There is a problem with drugs in Philadelphia and homelessness is an issue, makes for you not feeling very safe especially at night.

Nice to be able to walk to so many different places. It is a great location for the stadium close but far enough that you aren't in the crowd. Many places to eat. Not a lot of shopping places. The town is pretty dead in the am.

The Capitol iw well worth the trip thought guided tours should be without cryign and screaming babies in arms! Should limit it to 5 years of age and older. Civil War Museum is magnificent, well done, well coordinated, comprehensive and heartbreaking. Not enoujgh of Congressional Medal of Honor recipients.Stage Museum adjacent to Capitol is conspiculously absent of any information on James Buchanan, the only President from Pennsylbvania. If it's really a STATE museum, he houjld have been included in some detail. Surprised there was noting on Pennsylvania Railroad. Uber service is terrific, street maps wold be helpful for walking, showing restaurants, shops, etc.

Nice town but very conservative with some Trump like bigotry. Nightlife was very little and not much of an atmosphere. We went to visit Dorney Park which was the highlight of the stay and we really enjoyed it. The water park and water rides close on August 31st as a daily thing. The park then opens only at weekends for the Halloween Haunt which was amazing and well recommended. Real graveyard sets with actors playing Zombies with Halloween attractions that are full of scares. Universal Studios 'Halloween Horror Night' were not as good as this and clearly taken the whole idea from 'Six Flags' Who are the company that owns Dorney Park We also recommend the Lost River Caves. Other than that there is nothing of real interest there. The town is pretty much 1970s in its design and attitude. Next time we go to Dorney Park we shall stay in Philadelphia as it is one hour drive each way. Do not stay in Allentown if you identify yourself or any member of your group as LGBT+ as you will not feel welcome.

It has been many years since I visited Wilkes-Barre... maybe 30... Though it was not the destination, my wife and I found a lovely Thai Thai restaurant. I found the local drivers to be a bit rude and unconscious, like they were in a much bigger city than it is. I would return for sure.

It's a horrible place to go to for a stay.

It's a horrible place to go to for a stay. Most of the rooms are people who live there and there is constant drug use and abuse, and a lot of sketchy individuals and fighting and arguing at all hours of the day of night. My wife and I did not feel safe here for our one-night stay over during a wedding nearby. Stay away at all costs. I'm embarrassed for booking.com that they would even have this establishment listed as a property that they would book for.. I have requested my money back from booking.com for our stay at this horrible property
