Reasonably priced, large room. breakfast and kitchen,free parking and less taxes than NYC proper. The area where the hotel is is not walkable but there are a few decent places to eat minutes away..Not fancy but some good food in Yonkers and Riverdale. We have people in N Jersey and Hastings on Hudson. Neeme indian restaurant is best Indian I've had in years happy hour 5-7, Leibman's Deli a classic both in Riverdale. Taco Project 5 minutes from the hotel is not imoressive but the food is amazing and lovely service .Bella Rosa OG NYC pizza hero pasta . Great heroes and good service.Even the wine us both reasonable and pretty good.

It wasn’t a hotel that made my state not good it was the booking.com. Overall the hotel the management and everybody else in it was great I had to book my room because booking.com book my room, but couldn’t get to my room. so I really rate booking.com. Poor sad

I liked all the amenities offered by this hotel. Went to the Rock the Block event in downtown White Plains which was awesome Pizza Cucina on W.Post Road has an incredible spinach and cheese ravioli. Not a fancy restaurant with incredibly good Italian food. The variety of pizzas just amazing!!

We loved the look of the town, hoping to come back and see...

We loved the look of the town, hoping to come back and see more. Parking in most areas was hard to find and it’s all pay to park. We found a great coffee shop called coffee labs and the bagel emporium was delicious as well. We found some of the restaurants didn’t seem family friendly and were rather pricey. Some things we wanted to see were hard to find and stuff seemed to close early.

The rooms and décor were beautiful.

The rooms and décor were beautiful. The laundry was both well located and easy to use. The challenge was the communication necessary to have made the trip and entrance to the hotel easy. Due to the significant constriction around the hotel, there was only one way in, and it was obscure, I would have appreciated that information relayed before I spent an hour going in circles.

This is a budget location.

This is a budget location. It is not corporate or modern in its appearance. It has a 1950s, strip motel look. But it seems to be well run and our room was plenty large and convenient, good television, very comfortable bed, etc. The breakfast is only continental, but that's okay. The owners obviously care about their facilities and level of service. I stayed there happily for three days.

Stay time related to travel parameters.Reliance on Lyft for example. Travelled from Virginia for short trip and wedding involved plane, train and car fares. Might enjoy this area with own car or affordable vehicles . Great Italian food delivered from Angelini! NEARBY Mulino's great place for wedding with excellent food.

The Central Avenue/Tuckahoe Road area has shopping and restaurants galore. The Cross County Shopping Center outdoor mall is close by as well as access to public transportation via the Bee-line (Westchester) and NYC/MTA transit. Dinner at Marcelino’s in the hotel — excellent! Breakfast in the hotel — excellent! Central Plaza Diner — B, L or D — always delish/reasonably priced! Longhorn Steakhouse — Cross County — good food & service! If you’re Irish — head for Woodlawn!
