We really enjoyed our stay at Vina Ecolife, but there are a couple of things future travelers should know. First, the hotel is located in Phu Le village, in Ben Tre Province, not Ben Tre City. Booking.com wasn’t clear about this — it’s about an hour’s drive from the city, so just be aware of the location if you’re planning your trip. That said, the village itself is peaceful and charming and fun to cycle around with the free bikes the hotel provides. We had a fantastic meal at a local restaurant nearby (Tien Oc Hoi Xua), and the setting is ideal if you’re looking to experience authentic rural life in the Mekong Delta. The real highlight was the staff — incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A special shoutout to Huan, who went above and beyond to make our trip memorable. She arranged transport, organised a brilliant tour to a Homestay on an island where we were warmly welcomed by the host family. We cut and drank fresh coconuts, cycled around the island, relaxed in hammocks with a cold beer, and enjoyed a sunset boat ride. She also took us to a nearby village to meet locals making bamboo baskets, and we shared green tea with them — a truly special experience. Breakfast at the hotel was also great, with tasty local options. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn’t quite powerful enough for the room, so it stayed a bit too warm, and there was no fridge, which would have been handy. Overall, Vina Ecolife is a perfect spot if you’re looking to get off the beaten track and experience the local hospitality.

Highly recommended!!! The last three days at the hotel were really nice. The hotel staff are so friendly and take care of everything. We were able to borrow a scooter for two days, they organized a cab to the nearest bus station for us and were open to any questions. You also can have lunch and drink some fresh coconut! The price-performance ratio was great!

My stay at this hotel was simply amazing and the staff of the hotel made it even better. It is located within a 2USD Grab ride from both Ben Tre and My Tho city centre. The room was perfect and the views to the Mekong are the best. I would definetely recommend to stay here.

The room was spacious, hotel area well kept with lots of shade, sitting spots, plants and garden. The pool was the highlight for our kids - spacious, most of the time only for us, right on the riverbanks of Mekong. The hotel manager ( lady at the reception) was very helpful, aranged for us a short boat trip with biking and even went with us as guide. Bikes were available for us during the ehole stay. The area is not turisty at all, we havent´t seen any other foreign turist in 3 days in the village - this was a plus for us, but can be a minus for other people.

The homestay is a family business and they are amazing and incredible! They are helpful, lovely, the knowledge of the father while being our tour guide was exceptionnal! They're always smiling, joyful, ready to help. The food was absolutely delicious,tasty, following a good traditional cooking. The beds were really comfortable, firm but not too hard. It's clean, the bungalows were of a good size and being able to have breakfast and dinner by the river was stunning! Highly recommended if you're looking for a family, traditional and welcoming atmosphere ! Prices of food were reasonable too with big portions (and again, really delicious!) The garden was comfortable, the swimming pool was a joy after going on bicycle and motorbike tour. They use solar panels during the day for their electricity, they have their own boat to go on the Mekong river, they grow their own delicious coconuts to drink. It's a gem!

For those wanting to have a Mekong delta experience away from tours, this is your place. We caught a bus using Futa bus line, which provided a shuttle bus to and from the property. Our host helped ensure we knew exactly what time to be collected. We arrived early, which wasn't a problem, and were also allowed late checkout. The property is calm and tranquil, right by a branch of the river. Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable. We borrowed bikes on both days to explore the area. On the second day, we got a small ferry over to one of the islands. The property organised a sampan boat ride for us, and we were picked up from the little jetty at the farmstay. We ate meals at the property which you had to book in advance. These were good value and delicious. We would highly recommend this as a great escape from the hustle and bustle of HCM and excellent value for money.

We just loved it. It’s a peaceful oasis a bit further from the main touristic areas. We borrowed bicycles here to cycle a bit around the surrounding farms and villages and it was lovely. The staff was incredibly helpful (to a point it almost made me uncomfortable, I am really not used to this kind of service, but they were truly nice). The whole place has great relaxing athmosphere and we would definitely stay here again☺️

just outside the small village (need a motorbike to go out for dinner) in a super quiet zone. the pool was perfect to refresh after a long trip and the decoration is nice with many flowers. Staff is very kind and breakfast is simple but good (fresh fruits, eggs, bread)

Our Homestay owner is very knowledgeable about his hometown area. Our trip theme was to visit CACAO FARMS. We saw more! We saw cacao fruits, jack fruits, red coconuts, green coconuts, bananas, pomelos, tangerines, papayas and friendly neighborhood during our bicycle rides. Definitely recommend this place to family and friends. Will visit again.

away from the crowds of My Tho having a similar experience of the Mekong Delta, would recommend for a day, outside of the Mekong Delta Tour and riding a bike, its a bit boring place with not much more to do

Beautiful garden!

Beautiful garden! A small paradise in the Mekong delta.. very interesting 6 hour boat tour organised by the owner and his family to give a better understanding in the region. Free bicycles and map of the region to explore ben tre area on your own if you like or go to the ben tre market. Very welcoming atmosphere.
