The breakfast was exceptional, and the staff's outstanding service included a complimentary room upgrade for our initial stay. Considering our 5:00 AM departure for an early flight, the staff proactively provided a takeaway breakfast, for which we are deeply appreciative. Excellent location. In the heart of District 1. Walking distance to Ben Thanh Market, Japanese Street. Even though it id yhe oldest hotel in Saigon, it is very well kept. Room is spacious and clean. While it may seemed insignificant to some, I noticed they changed the lift carpets 3times a day. Greeting guest with Good Morning, Good Afternoon n Good Evening. Keep up the good effort.

The location is amazing! Right next to the party street, but completely quiet. Also the Saigon bus terminal is 250m away, so our trip to cu chi tunnels was easier than expected (27k đ one way, about 2,5h). There is no breakfast, but many cafes, restaurants and 7-Elevens around to compensate. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.

Beautiful calm jungle retreat outside the urban intensity Ho Chi Minh. Staff incredible and the architecture of the tree houses unbelievable. The herb garden is wonderful to wander around. Great boat shuttle to the city. And well positioned for Cu Chi Tunnels visit.

I love Saigon.

I love Saigon. This was my 8th visit & I fall in love with it a little bit more every time I come back. But what's not to like? The people are so friendly & courteous, the food is delicious & the price of things is unbelievably low. I could live here if I didn't love my home so much. I like to try all the foods, Street food, food in the markets etc & have never had an upset tummy. Oh, and you have to try the egg coffee at least once - it's quite an experience. Getting around is super easy & inexpensive...just download the Grab app & get a Grab taxi - quick & cheap. I did a scooter tour and was taken to a few different restaurants to try the food, & we had a walk through the flower market. Beautiful & well worth the money.

Great escape from the bustling city of Saigon, only 1.5hrs traveling by motorbike ... Many historical sites to dive into, plenty of serene countryside rice fields & bumpy offroad trails to explore ... If seeking accommodations, be sure to check out Les Hameaux de l'Orient :)

The city is clean enough but too metropolitan.

The city is clean enough but too metropolitan. It doesn't compare to the greenery you find in Hanoi. The War Remnants Museum is excellent and a must visit. If you want to visit the Opera House, get tickets well in advance. The Michelin Star places have a reservation system, but I felt you could get a seat if you went directly anyway. Keep your souvenir shopping for Hoi An and Hanoi, I promise you might think things are expensive there because it is a heavily touristy area, but the choices are very limited and even more expensive in HCM if you are on a budget, and the "market" does not have things as nice. Chay Garden (we went to the one in Vo Van Tan) is an excellent place to visit for food.
