Probably the newest hotel in District 1, quite luxury and very central (as the name suggets accurately). But the service quality is another level. We were so fascinated with people always smiling, trying to make us happy and comfortable. It was so clear they were doing these without even expecting a tip. Led by Ms Sam, a clearly very intelligent and promising young businesswoman always in search of improving service, the staff was truly extraordinary (note that there was NO request to me to cite names which is common in Vietnam). Ms Hanna, Mr Tihen, Ms Huong, Mr Hai were all tremendous in their hospitality. The cost and value balance is so optimal at this hotel; it will always be our top choice is Saigon.

Very central location - 5 mins walk to opera house, ben thanh market - 10mins to post office and war museum. All walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, bars, spa/massage parlour and tailoring spots - spoilt for choices! Nguyen hue walking street literally around the corner! Hotel is situated within the lovely Saigon Centre mall; entrance walkway lobby on ground floor between Nepresso and TagHeuer. Beautiful hotel room! Intricacy and details from ceiling, floors to walls amazing! Lovely bathtub with see-through window into bedroom - bath salts and bath foam also provided. Complimentary drinks in fridge with specialty coffee and tea - french press machine provided. Pantry available for guests on each floor - frequently topped up with daily fresh fruits, coffee and tea. Microwave, water (cold and hot) and ice dispenser free for guests to use. Gym was legit! Situated in the mall but hotel guests have private access to it directly from the 6th floor. Top end high class fitness centre - many (100+) of cardio and weights equipments, including boxing ring! Yoga classes are also free for hotel guests to book. Friendly fitness instructors available and waiting to help! Pretty swimming pool to do laps and kids shallow area too. Definitely would stay here again! :)

It was the perfect setting to relax, recharge, and fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. A special thank you to our butler, Tran, who took amazing care of us — she was absolutely lovely, attentive, and always so helpful and kind. One memorable experience I had was at a hotel with a beautiful green environment. The gardens were well-maintained, providing a peaceful atmosphere. They also had a tennis court, where I spent a lot of time playing. The breakfast was fantastic, featuring a variety of Vietnamese dishes that were delicious. What made the stay even better was the friendliness of the hotel workers, who were always ready to assist with a smile

The traffic crossings were still dangerous even when the on-coming traffic was facing red and the people crossing had the green man. The cluttering of most busy footpaths with motor bikes and the riders using them along the footpaths was a disgrace. In several places the mix of motorbike/scooters blocked the footpaths and many had tiny chairs for people eating out on the footpath. So called "security guards" were 90% smokers and looked unlikely to help any law-breaking. I have been to HCM several times, the footpaths are still like target practice for the riders and would not be tolerated in more advanced countries.

Ho Chi Minh City is busy but not as mad busy as similar...

Ho Chi Minh City is busy but not as mad busy as similar cities such as Bangkok for example. It is easy and comfortable to walk everywhere in the central district. There is a great variety of restaurants and bars and eating out is great value for money compared to Europe. The night Food Street Market is great and really cheap. I found the City really safe when walking around day or night and didn't have any security concerns atall.

Great escape from the bustling city of Saigon, only 1.5hrs traveling by motorbike ... Many historical sites to dive into, plenty of serene countryside rice fields & bumpy offroad trails to explore ... If seeking accommodations, be sure to check out Les Hameaux de l'Orient :)

HCMC is massive, noisy, hot and full of scooters. An important point of my trip but 3 nights were enough. It's a good base for Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta trips. One day to explore the main city attractions and just walk around. I wouldn't skip it but found it way too much on traffic and pollution scale. HCMC was my starting and finishing point of Vietnam trip - the airport is very busy so make sure you give yourself plenty of time (long waiting at immigration). Overall, HCMC is worth visiting but not for chill out time. If you like night time thrills, there's plenty of bars, clubs etc.
