The staffs are all friendly. Immediately assist us to solve all kind of issues, like drive us to the night market nearby, rent the motorcycles, call the grab and so on. Once we met some issues, dial the number to the counter, then the staff would just show up in front of the room! This kind of service really make us impressive. The perfect place we’ve ever been. The staff is very supportive, the rooms clean and very beautiful. When we came there one of the room wasn’t prepared, they took 30 minutes to fix the problem and for excuses proposed spa for all group of six people. We really appreciated that. During the stay we got here: free tickets to cable car, free access to water park, free tickets to kiss bridge, transfer from/to pier and at first day even we got breakfast when came to hotel at 10 a.m. The hotel organised at day we came boat trip, and every time were ready to help in every step. Nobody ask us to write a good review. Very grateful to everybody of hotel stuff for our perfect stay here! Happy New Year! P.S. if you take the room with sea view you have a great chance to see show at 20:00 from your balcony very clear.

    Everything was perfect, the beach and pool as well as the room and the hotel as such were always super clean, the weather was also great, we experienced no rain despite rainy forecast, breakfast had a wide selection of food, staff was very attentive, in the walking distance you have many restaurants and bars, there is a free bus going to the night market with a bus stop next by, the bus goes also to the north and runs every 10-15min, the hotel is close to the airport and offers a free transport, we were also in 5* resort in the north, and Amarin was much nicer with a better location, so I def recommend

    We booked here last minute and are so glad we did. We even tried to extend but they were full sadly. Lovely and clean, good bathrooms with warm showers. Location is good, right near lovely beach bar with loungers/bean bags and lots of nice restaurants etc. There is a free Shuttle bus which is really handy for getting around. Highly recommended!

    The lush, peaceful environment was perfect for unwinding after busy workdays. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a fantastic mountain view.     Ha Tien is an interesting area, sprawled out along the ocean, consisting of waterfront, restaurants, beaches, and swimming areas. places to drive and walk and explore. I have fun on my motorbike, ranging all over the area and felt quite safe. There are newer, developing areas and older established areas. The downtown areas seem to have pretty basic hotels not many foreigners here as it’s a favourite for Vietnamese people to visit during the holiday holidays.

    Phu qouc has the best weather, just cold and warm enough. The food is awesome. Its not as commercialised as other cities in vietnam. Its a cute small island with the perfect blend of love and culture. The roads are awesome, the infrastructure is awesome, the people are awesome.

    A good place for 2-3 day breaks. The traditional part of the town is a good place to walk round. The streets are not crowded. There is a large ‘CoopMart’ supermarket for supplies. There are 1 or 2 western style cofffee shops to relax in such as the “Everyday” coffee shop which sits just back from the water. At night there are a number of large modern and smart Asian restaurants. A lot of money is being devoted towards developing not just this coastal part of Vietnam but also the adjoining coastal region of Cambodia.

    I think I chose the wrong time to visit the island..

    I think I chose the wrong time to visit the island.. Almost the whole time it was raining. The water was rough around this side of the island, and locals suggested to avoid getting into the water for safety reasons. Couldn't do much of exploring due to the weather. If you wish to enjoy the island, the best thing to do is avoid travelling between June to October (rains are unpredictable and annoying). Towards the end of October till about March, the place can be a gem.. This may probably be another reason why it's considered as the peak season by many travellers. Avoid staying in 1-hotel as travelling can take up a lot of time. Split your stay in 3-zones. North = Vinpearl + Star Fish beach + Grand World. South = Cable car, serene beaches, pearl factory, leisure time Central = Temples and markets and city tour, etc. + easiest to reach the Airport. Remember - check-in times are usually 12pm and check-out is 10am. Plan your arrival/departure accordingly. Another important thing to keep in mind is Food. If you have food restrictions, please book places which serve international food rather than just Vietnamese cuisine. Travelling around the city can be free. Yes - thanks to their Green Bus. But the flip side is the accessibility and timing. Routes are defined and based on the routes, bus timings differ(sometimes the wait can be more than 1hr, depending on the location you are at or where you need to go). Overall - I think I'll need another visit(maybe longer - 4 nights and 5 days) and at a different time of the year (Nov/Dec) to properly explore the whole Island and experience all that's there :)
