This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in my entire life. It's just AMAZING. Very very beautiful, conveniently located in centre of Sapa, easily accessible. The swimming pool was very pretty (and warm). All the decorations were very cute and classy. It was the only hotel in Sapa where I did not feel cold at all (I stayed in 3 different hotels), thanks to the central heating, I guess. The staff were super nice and helpful, spoke good English, treated me like a princess (I am a solo traveller). If you have the money, stay at this hotel for your last day in Sapa (just stay in the hotel so you can get the most out of it after you're done exploring Sapa). It's totally worth the price, trust me. Greetings to the receptionist lady who wore the infinity-shaped necklace and the bell guy with cute dimples who helped me take my luggage and brought me more bottles of water. Love it!!

I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The rooms are immaculately clean, the beds are super comfortable and free water and snacks in the room is a great bonus! Breakfast is perfect with loads of choices and eggs, pancakes etc can be made to order. The best part of this hotel however is the owner, Kim. He went above and beyond to accommodate us and his kindness is unmatched (even after we checked in at 2am). He held our bags for us when we went on an overnight trekking trip. Offered us showers after checking out before getting on our night bus. He even made us sandwiches when we were leaving for the bus as a snack. Location is just a short walk from the town and beautiful views of the mountain. At a very reasonable price also. Book this place now!!!

We liked our stay in this so lovely and colorful hotel😻 . It is super clean, super hospitable and comfortable, beds are very comfy with high level textile and clean. Room is big and has nice balcony with lovely view on mountain. Location is very good and 2 min from restaurants and city centre (which is noisy) but our place was quiet. Breakfast was fool, European style with local fruits and even pancakes. I also liked very nice decorations in the room and lobby, so welcoming and enjoying atmosphere 😻👌🏻 Miss Trang was incredible host and tour provider who helped to book tickets online and arrange transport. Look how beautiful it is from the photos.

Almost everything. I know you all probably have read if not, almost all of the reviews but if i can say one thing, you all should behave and understand your actions in the hotel. If you make your room a mess, untidy as in bring in your dirty shoes, unclean garments resulting from your trips, they will indeed charge you for it. There are only few of them managing the hotel and everything is from organic sources so imagine their frustration when you all damage/spill the room with your dirty stuffs. So please try to behave and act civil and you'll be good.

The brother and sister are both funny and very cheerful, creating a warm and lively atmosphere. The young boy was especially great company during my stay. They went above and beyond by giving me the best room to make up for the bike trip, which didn’t go as planned. I really appreciated the gesture! The location is fantastic—close to all the hustle and bustle of the city—and the food is delicious too.

I like the location. The staff were very helpful, polite and Friendly. I would like to give special compliment to this male staff who check us in. We miss our coach back to Hanoi. He went the extra mile contacting the agent and rebook our transport. We were panic. This male staff came forward to help us. Excellent service. Thank you will come to the same hotel again.

Clean and comfortable rooms with partial lake view and Mountain View. Very spacious and a good variety of breakfast dishes to choose from. The location is very convenient to get around. There is a convenient store next to hotel and about 5 minutes walk will get you to a very nice chestnut biscuit/cake bakery.

We were only here for 2 days but could easily have stayed at...

We were only here for 2 days but could easily have stayed at least an extra 2 days to see more. Sap was great for Fansipan the highest Mountain in Indochina, Cat Cat village, Moana Sapa and the culture. We had a herbal hot tub at one of the Spa places and it was a great experience, highly recommended as it is something you can't always do. We had the buffet lunch at Fansipan and we had dinner at the local night markets which was great. We caught the sleeper bus up and the sleeper train back down but the bus journey to the train station was a bit hectic. I think you can easily just use another sleeper bus to your next destination. Grab is so easy and cheap here.

Lao Cai is a frontier town and as such, has a quite quirky feel to it. There is not a whole lot to do per se, apart from visiting a couple of pagodas. I do like the vibe there and there is some really good Vietnamese food available.

A great, quiet mountain town - and we didn't even go for the...

A great, quiet mountain town - and we didn't even go for the Sunday market! We stayed 4 nights, and would come back. Take tours of the surrounding hill tribes and mountains with Mr Huy Trung, from Huy Trung Homestay, or use his self-guided walking tour maps. We enjoyed the second hand shops and Milano coffee cafe, and a restaurant at BacHA Boutique Homestay, by the lake.

Beautiful gentle people, lots of Hmong and ethnic culture. Would have liked to have taken the cable car to Fansipan but the weather was too cloudy. However, we took the train to the cable car station and spent 3 hours there. I have never seen such beautiful gardens with hydrangeas and roses and so many other flowers. There were fantastic village productions of the culture including dancing that should not be missed.

Very difficult to find your way there, all homestay/hotel...

Very difficult to find your way there, all homestay/hotel owners refuse to provide information and collaborate only with specific companies. English guides limited but a guide named Thao made our stay a nightmare. She was trying to push lunch and other side services, once she realized we didn’t want that, she stopped any guiding and intentionally destroyed half of one day and the whole second day by acting simply as a side person on the trip, not providing absolutely anything. Totally unprofessional and even verbally rude and sarcastic. Avoid at all costs!

So much to do in sapa, really nice spot but would want good weather as it gets foggy and don’t see anything. Also bring warm clothes because you just never know and evening times are always colder. But overall a beautiful place to see

Mountainous area famous for plum. It's called the white valley because during the spring the whole area is covered by plum flowers. So it's best to visit in early January. Otherwise, summer is a good time for plum picking. I had an enjoyable experience picking plum myself and brought lots of them home. I was lucky to visit during the weekends when they had annual horse racing competition. Really memorable. They also have weekly Hmong flea market on Sunday, you can eat local food and see ethnic people trading. Riding motorbike and looking at the mountain was fairly enough for me. You definitely should eat at Sa Mu restaurant. The food was so good that we went there twice.
