Excellent reviews fully deserved We were at the hotel for 4 days And it was so nice. the staff was very friendly, and they speak good english. The rooms were also amazing. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked good. And we also liked the pool, the water in it was very hot and was so good swimming in it. And the food was delicious credit to the cook. Now we can leave with good memories from Carl-Emil 9 years old , Storm 12 years old, Villads 14 years old and Lauge 15 years old

Very friendly and helpful owner. Breakfasts were really good, I dont remember when I have better breakfast in homestay. Location is far enough from main street to have calm atmosphere, but not so far so you cant walk there. Room is big enough and clean.

Absolutely perfect place to stay in Tam Coc/Ninh Binh. The hotel was brand new when we stayed and provided a great nature retreat. The room, pool, location, and staff were all exceptional for our stay. We borrowed bikes for 2 days to explore the tourist spots and bike around the rice fields, and spent another afternoon soaking up the sun by the pool. We only wish we spent a little more time here

Great accomodation! The room was exactly as described, very clean with lots of amenities! The breakfast was excellent too! We gave our clothes for laundry and we took them back smelling super nice! The staff was very friendly and polite and made our stay so comfortable. I strongly recommend this hotel!!

This was an amazing place to stay. We had a lovely time and it is perfect in every way. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The level of hospitality was incredible. I would have stayed longer if I could and this is the one place that if I ever get the chance, I will go back to. The views from the Homestay are amazing and I spent a lot of time sitting in their comfy chairs on the water looking at the beautiful scenery. Food was great - we had everything we needed right here.

We ended up staying here last minute when our booked hotel 'lotusfield homestay' double booked our room and left us stranded. Ninh Binh valley homestay came to our rescue, and even picked us up. The rooms were comfortable and ever so peaceful. The family that runs it are all very helpful and their kids are adorable.

Incredibly beautiful location, and easy to get around with the bikes you can rent, and the bikes are amazing! Super friendly staff and dogs/cats :) It was a shame that we missed the family dinner because it sounded so fun!

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly...

After few days in hectic but great Hanoi, I thoroughly enjoyed Ninh Binh. I explored the area including the Trang An boat through the Halong Bay on land (it really is), cycling around the rice fields, visiting the Mua Cave (and going up the mountain), the hidden parts and cafes. It’s a slower pace place but this makes it special.

The bed was a king size, comfiest bed I have slept in all Vietnam, also the air con worked, having your own bathroom and shower, and the staff were super lovely. Loved the stay here felt super luxurious.

As far as I can make out, this town is a suburb/area of Ninh Binh, less than a mile from the train station. It is probably the friendliest place I've ever been - I think I was "helloed" by just about everyone under 10 I saw. But the highlights are really in the surrounding countryside, so I would recommend planning for a few days out to see the nature reserves and participate in the activities. You don't need to travel far, and can get Grab taxis or bikes if you don't have your own transport.

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real...

Ninh Binh itself is an industrial city - the real attraction is Trang An. Get there early - 6:50am, choose Route 1, and prepare to be transported into another world. Pictures do not capture the other worldly atmosphere of the place - it really is something special.

I had a wonderful experience at Lighthouse Hotel in Ninh Binh. The hotel is located in a convenient location, near markets and attractions, making transportation easy. Rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equipped with amenities. In particular, the receptionist is very friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to assist customers. The hotel also provides a private cooking area and dining table for guests, creating a feeling of home. The yard is spacious and airy, providing a relaxing space after days of exploration. I will definitely return to Lighthouse Hotel on my next trips to Ninh Binh.

We stayed in Tam Coc which is the centre of all of the activity. Touristy, but worth it, beautiful place, lots to see and do. Don't miss the Tam Coc boat tour but leave first thing in the morning to be on the river by yourself and to watch the Lotus flower open. Stunning boat trip. The viewpoint is great but avoid going up to the dragon as it can be dangerous near the top. A must see is the gardens - take the time to go out and walk around, absolutely stunning. Really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to anyone. The scenery is just spectacular.
