We had a wonderful stay! The staff, especially the owner, were very friendly and helpful. There's even a WhatsApp hotline for questions about the apartment or the island. The apartments are new, modern, and very clean, including the towels and other amenities. Also you can see the daily fireworks from the apartments and the rooftop pool is beautiful. We loved it so much we extended our stay twice. When our original room was already booked, the staff upgraded us to a bigger one at no extra cost. They really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable!

Everything! - Perfect location to explore Sunset town. - Very comfortable and beautiful room. - Stephany was very helpful from the beginning. Few tips how to enjoy your stay at Sunset town: Withdraw some cash as soon as you arrive (ATM is available in Hon Thom Departure Terminal), there is not much choice around where to eat for a reasonable price (it’s like 200-300 VND min for a meal for 1 person without drinks). So better have some cash and enjoy everyday food market in the north part of the town that starts at 18:00 (5 min by walk from the Mellon Oasis). Don’t go to Starbucks for coffee, go to Lotus Cafe & Home, try Sea salt cream latte! One of the best coffee I’ve ever had!

We stayed in this small and cosy hotel 11 nights. Upon arrival the owner greeted us with a warm welcome and guided us to our room. The rooms were clean, towels and linen fresh. Also tea, coffee and drinking water were provided for free. The same evening the owner gave us recommendations what to do on the island and where to go. He even explained the road conditions in detail since we wanted to rent a scooter for mobility. He also asked to contact him first if we wanted to visit different attractions on the island. This turned out to be an excellent idea because the prices at gates were significantly higher than he offered to us :) He also organized a group of hotel visitors to a private trip to starfish beach, which would have been much more expensive on our own. Another great feature of this wonderful stay was the fact that we were able to buy sea food from the local central market and their staff helped us to prepare it in local way for a small fee. This was an excellent alternative to restaurants that were quite expensive on the island compared to regular prices in Vietnam. With the help of their staff we managed to save our valuable time and hundreds of thousands in local currency.

stayed here for two nights at sea view room last two weeks when i had my vietnam trip.first stop i visited is Duong Dong town in Phu Quoc.the hotel location is good, close to night market,you can walk to there within 10 minutes,also it is close to some famous spots in Duong Dong,like Dinh Cau temple and Dinh Bà Thủy Long Thánh Mẫu. the room is quite big,clean though not a new one.besides aircorn,they provide a stand fan,i love the fan,with it you dont need aircon anymore. staying here is very comfortable, you can watch the sea everyday. the sea view is nice,though you can see other building outside,but not a big issue, cuz Ngoc Chau dont have private beach,so cant ask for more.TV though youtube only,still enjoyable. washroom is ok, they provide basic toiletries, also free drinking water in the room,i love the fridge in the room, cuz i can keep my drinks bought outside here.the price is affordable. breakfast is simple,in mini buffet style,i love its pho,delicious,i had pho bo one day,and another day pho ga or hu tiue ga? both are tasty, you can ask staff to cook sunny side up for you.staffs in restaurant are nice,a girl is friendly and helpful,another boy is hardworking too. Lily the staff at the counter is very helpful,she can speak English, with her help,i booked an half day tour to starfish beach, and also rented a car with driver to An Thoi town, along the way to the south,i visited many places and buying some souvenirs. prices are both reasonable. Ngoc Chau is not a five star hotel,but i really enjoy the stay, will be back again,and highly recommended!

This is one of the best accommodations we've had in Vietnam. The standard is very high, and the service is exceptional with a high personal culture which goes hand in hand with great professionalism. The room is wonderfully equipped and very spacious, which is incredibly convenient. The location of the hotel is perfect, surrounded by nature. The entire staff takes great care of the property and its surroundings. I’ve never encountered such friendly service anywhere else. The breakfasts are delicious and diverse, with a huge variety of options, and everything tastes amazing. The pool is fantastic, and even though the property is large, there was never a time when all the lounge chairs were occupied. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone!

This hotel is pure aesthetics in every detail. The service is outstanding, and the restaurant is truly deserving of a 10 out of 5 rating. The breakfast selection is vast, and the restaurant's ambiance, coupled with high-quality service, is exceptional. The pool is fantastic, even for those who enjoy competitive swimming. It’s about 23 meters long with a sufficient depth! The atmosphere by the pool is lovely, with relaxing music playing in the background. The bar offers great cocktails and smoothies. It’s truly a pleasure to stay here.

We booked here last minute and are so glad we did. We even tried to extend but they were full sadly. Lovely and clean, good bathrooms with warm showers. Location is good, right near lovely beach bar with loungers/bean bags and lots of nice restaurants etc. There is a free Shuttle bus which is really handy for getting around. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was of a very high quality with lots of options to suit everyone's tastes. The rooms were kept very clean. They hotel hostest a really fun NYE party. The buffet was delicious and the staff were really accommodating and fun. It is only a short walk to many excellent places to eat and about a 15 minute walk to a gorgeous beach.

The island is so beautiful!

The island is so beautiful! Thete are many unspoiled beaches and incredible places hete - just avoid the over-commercialized places like Sunset Town. Duong Dong is a good area - for cuisine, shopping and beaches. Pearls are cultivated locally and can be bought more cheaply in some markets. The Night Markets are such fun! Take taxis and tuktuk - cheap and cheerful.

The main town is fairly average, not particularly pretty.

The main town is fairly average, not particularly pretty. OK food options, big range but average quality and expensive (tourist / island) prices compared to HCM. Too many noisy doof-doof nightclubs along the beach ruin the chance for a relaxing sleep. Leave it for the backpacker revellers. Many accommodation options seem run down. Plenty of Russians around, this rarely improves the ambiance in my experience.
