We stayed two nights, Lilly and Hannah’s service was great. Upon arrival, they showed us a map and points of interest, and they were extremely helpful during our stay. Hotel is walking distance to most points of interest. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pictures on bookings.com do not do it justice. Would highly recommend a stay here.

a bit out of the main town which was so peaceful and beautiful views of mountains and paddy fields surrounding. free bikes provided for us to cycle into town easily along the river. The bed was SO COMFTY. Nothing was too much trouble to ask and we had a delicious bbq chicken for dinner one night :)

Fantastic staff! We had trouble with a trip that we had booked (another company had forgot our booking) and the owner did everything she could to make a last minute new trip for us. After several phone calls and creative thinking, they managed to get us on a tour that had already started. They then drove us up with the Homestay car to meet the grip, so that we managed to join the tour just as they arrived at the location for the tour. Best help I have got from any hotel/homestay in my life!

The hotel is just beautiful! Located just 10 minutes away from Dong Hoi station, the hotel is just stunning to look at with spacious and extremely clean rooms and professional staffs. The hotel also offers a gorgeous view of Nhat Le river bay. This was our honeymoon and the staff was kind enough to greet us with a sweet personalized note and a cake. The breakfast menu is really delicious. Any day trips to Phong Nha Ke Bang will definitely pick up from this hotel. We had a beautiful stay at this property and cannot recommend this more! Cheers!

Me and my wife stayed for 3 nights in a villa. In summary, Phong Nha Lake House Resort is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. - The staff at the front desk, restaurant and house keeping are great. - The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. Bed and pillows are also very comfortable. - The scenery is amazing. It feels like you have your own private lake. - Wifi has good connection speed. - Breakfast is ok. The restaurant offers a good variaty of local and western food. The prices are quite reasonable. - My wife had massage in the spa center on time and she was happy about it. The price of the massage was also reasonable. - The hotel is a bit far from the Phong Nha town. You need to ride a bike, call a taxi or use Grab. The location may be a problem if you are looking for an accomodation in the town. Being by a beautiful lake, the location was just perfect for us.

We were satisfied with the hotel. The room was large and clean, with a nice bathroom and well working air conditioning and internet. The hotel is not directly at the beach and I do not know what is meant with the private beach, but in any case one can walk in 10 minutes to the sunflower beach/restaurant that is actually the best beach we have seen in Vietnam during our one month holiday.

Everything about this place is sensational. The setting in a peaceful village overlooking the rice fields, the delicious Vietnamese and Western food, amazing drinks from a cold beer to a well made cocktail, gym, sauna, and the most friendly staff you could ask for. That's before you've even spoken about the surrounding area.

I loved the pools. Both enormous perfect for doing laps. The spa was sensational where I went for my massage. Quite tricky to find but well worth the hunt . There is a shuttle car that can drive you. Rooms were beautiful. Everything you needed. Staff very helpful, and very accomodating at breakfast.

Lovely area that is not as touristy as others.

Lovely area that is not as touristy as others. Phong Nha cave and Paradise cave were both lovely to visit. We hired a motorbike between two people and visited them ourselves. Cheaper than doing a tour. And we got to see lovely scenery enroute to the caves. We also joined some others for the boat to Phong Nha caves to share the cost of the boat.

We liked the local eateries serving traditional food. The locals were the friendliest we have met so far. The area is really chilled and the residents of Dong Hoi seem of a happy disposition. Paradise cave is well worth a visit. Get a private taxi there for 7am opening and you may be lucky enough to have the entire cave to yourself, as we did! Try the eel noodles. If you’re from the UK the eels don’t tast like they do at home, they are meaty and have zero fishy taste or odour. Delicious. If you fancy a craft beer, M Steakhouse has amber ale, stout and pale ale. We went here for a break from Vietnamese food and wasn’t disappointed.

Very nice room, local bathroom system unusual for westerners. Breakfast ok ( except coffee wich in most places Phong nha is not good) very good help from Linh Over all I give a 8-9 grade to my experience at this hotel

We loved the caves up in Phong Nha National Park and the...

We loved the caves up in Phong Nha National Park and the whole surroundings. It was a great excursion. We rented scooters in Dong Hoi and drove there. Nature is amazingly beautiful. There is not much traffic, but it's good to be at the Paradise Cave early. When the tour groups arrive, the atmosphere gets destroyed, as everywhere. The boat trip into Phong Nha Cave was nice. There we went later in the afternoon, again because then the groups have gone. We preferred staying down in Dong Hoi because it's more of a local scene there are excellent restaurants in town.

A long boat ride into the cave followed by a quieter paddling inside. The caves is huge largest I've ever been and very impressive with the structures. After boat ride, we walked a short while allowing to view them up close.

It is a stop off spot to go to Phong Na and other points, but the city is very charming, not very touristy. We loved it - go to the street market, the tree hugger cafe and seafood stands on the beach.
