Very quiet location with free bicycles to rent. Was so relaxing we decided to do late check out whilst waiting for pickup for our bus to Nha Trang Front staff were very accommodating and excellent to the point where I must say that after a whole HK and North to South Vietnam trip, I still remember the reception staff name after a month - Vu Shuttle bus to Old Town easy to organise and front staff organised us a paid taxi when a shuttle didn't come once !

We loved everything, but I need to give credit to the lovely staff as everybody went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! They have a huge (and delicious) breakfast selection and they make Vietnamese coffee on request! The rooms were clean and spacious and regardless of what kind of room you book, everything is close to everything (spa, restaurants, beach, pool). Would definitly come back!

I have to mention the best part about the stay was Thao, the host there . She was so helpful, friendly and homely. The room was just beautiful and so clean and such an earthen vibe. The breakfast was also amazing. She helped us with bikes, car booking and basket boat at a very reasonable price. It was one of the best stays we had in Vietnam. Thank you Thao . It is an amazing resort in Hoi An, very close to the city center. Facilities are great and there are different restaurants with a variety of cuisines to try! The vibes is great cool town and very relaxing, lots of good cafe, restaurants and pubs for dining, chill out and entertainment. The river was very beautiful at night with all the lights. There are many special shops selling lamps, pastries, and local street foods, a lot of ancient building and structure to take photo with. Love the people there.

If you want to get a feel for a sleepy town which is not a...

If you want to get a feel for a sleepy town which is not a tourism magnet then this is a place to experience a real local town in Vietnam. Add to that the Quang Nam museum in the center of town is very interesting to visit. Hopefully there will be more information for foreign visitors around! The beach is not that far and it is worth to rent a bike or car and spend sometime around some of the villages around the coast there. They have a lot of characters. The food in Tam Ky, especially seafood is awesome too!

We rented the entire property for a group of 6 people.

We rented the entire property for a group of 6 people. Everyone has their own room and bathroom which was great and the bedrooms are very comfortable and large with very big beds and phenomenal air conditioning. Communal areas need work tho!! We couldnt enter the kitchen due to a horrific smell from our arrival and there was no plave to relax by the pool. Outdoor furniture would be good. Overall, in particular due to air conditioning, we enjoyed our stay and host was very responsive via whatsapp but not sure Id recommend due to lack of quality communal space, mass of bedding and cleaning ongoing on upper level and fowl kitchen.

The snorkeling here is mediocre. The visibility is not very good, and the coral and fish are not worth the effort. The town itself is chill, but the food is not so special. Da Nang and Hoi An had better restaurants.

We absolutely loved Hoi An!

We absolutely loved Hoi An! It’s such a charming town with beautiful lanterns, great food, and lovely people. The old town is full of character and easy to explore on foot or by bicycle. Unfortunately, because of the weather, we couldn’t spend much time on the beach during our visit in early October — but we still enjoyed wandering around, visiting cafés, and soaking up the atmosphere. Even with the rain, Hoi An was one of our favourite places in Vietnam! We used Grab to get around. Plenty of places to shop around.

An Bang beach is the perfect base for a visit to Hoi An. It’s lovely to have the beach for the day with the town being only a 10 minute taxi away for the night time lanterns. It's a beautiful beach - golden sand, warm sea, gently shelving so v safe for kids. Lots of lovely beach bars and restaurants but not a glitzy party place. More low key and family friendly.

Booked 5 nights to relax but reduced to 3 as very little to do and lacking facilities for lounging on beach. Beaches were a hot walk away, with steep climb. Some nice seafront cafes - local, not Western.

I travelled to Hoi An to Celebrate my 60th Birthday, it was a great decision there was a lot to do and disover, lost of places to visit a great market with endless souveniers and delicius food, the lanters at night make the night very enjoyble.

This is an island. There are no hotels and cars on it.

This is an island. There are no hotels and cars on it. Only guesthouses and bikes. Great nature and diving. You can drive up to the lighthouse, but circular movements around the island are now impossible, in several places there are collapses of stones. Look for guesthouses with fresh good reviews, they may not have a sea view, but there will be clean comfortable rooms. Good diving spots! 1-2 days is enough for the trip
