The highest building in town by far, offering great views across the river. The room was super comfortable, with a huge shower. The two things that stood out the most on this stay were the staff, who went above and beyond with helpfulness and were just so accommodating, including putting chocolates on the pillows at night, placing the slippers in front of the bed, and going so far as to even call the room on the first night to inform if we needed anything else – never seen that level of service elsewhere before; and secondly, it was the most fabulous breakfast I've ever seen: an insane abundance of varied foods, all of superb quality. We were at club level so we also got the evening canapees and free wine, which was so worth it tbh. And the rooftop bar is very well done, with music that's very pleasant instead of insanely loud (as is usual the case in Vietnam rooftops), and of course amazing views. This hotel has thought of everything, and there are attendants literally everywhere to help you out with whatever request pops into your head.

It is a nicely decorated hotel in Chinese style with all the amenities. The room was very spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The location is excellent. The breakfast is exceptional. To highlight the friendliness of the staff, particularly Huong Hoai Ngoc at the reception.

It was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The staff were so friendly, professional and helpful at all times. After checking in you are given an app that you can use to communicate and plan your stay. You can even schedule housekeeping services and they were always on time and extremely fast. I have never experienced anything like that before. The onsen experience was also really great. I booked a lot of spa treatments and everyone did an amazing job and really went out of their way to make my time as enjoyable as possible. I also attended some meditation classes and the teachers were really friendly, well trained and helpful. Thank you again for all these great and relaxing experiences. The prices at the restaurant were a little higher than local places, but the quality of the food was excellent and the overall service was very attentive. Some of the dishes were the best I have had in Vietnam so far. My room was also spacious and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel is quite out of Hue city and far away from everything. But you are rewarded with amazing nature and a really peaceful environment. I really wish I could come back one day and I'd like to thank the whole team again.

Lovely staff - especially at reception and breakfast service. Great room - huge, with quality furniture, extra large bed and TV etc. Our suite had two big balconies, separate lounge, bathroom with bath and walk in shower and two sinks - plus an extra WC. Great breakfast - buffet with made to order egg dishes as well as various hot Vietnamese options, fresh tropical fruit, pastries, homemade yoghurt etc etc. Nice pool and sunbed area too.

The resort is located at a beautiful location. It is very quiet. We stayed in a large villa, tastefully decorated and very clean. The staff were excellent, very friendly. We had bad luck with the weather but visiting Hue (40 minutes drive by the free shuttle) was a perfect alternative. The Hotel Manager Cristy took personal care of us, suggesting what to do in Hue, showing us around.

It's a beautiful heritage property. If you love antiques and history then staying here is the best decision you'd be making. But pls note since it's over a 100 yrs old property pls don't expect all of the modern facilities like in the hotels now a days. Lien was absolutely lovely and her homestay was amazing, cannot recommended enough. She made us feel very at home and welcomed us with fruit, tea and soup. Lien is very knowledgeable about the area and what our options to see any of the sights would be individually or as a package. She was also kind enough to book the bus for us and take us to the bus stop in the morning. If you’re in Hue this is the place to stay; good location, very clean and tidy, comfortable beds, great host and great facilities.

Secluded and peaceful beach location, with well-groomed surroundings and a comfortable hotel. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the staff was great! I had dinner at the Rice Bowl a few times, and the Japanese food and service were excellent! However, compared to similar restaurants in Hanoi, it was a bit pricy. The beach was excellent, clean and quiet. The proximity to the golf course was fantastic too, although I did not play, as I was there to watch a tournament. Great place for some R&R with family!

I stayed only one day and it was raining the whole day so my experience of Hue is biaised. But for any people interested in history visiting the imperial city is quite impressive and the tombs of Emperors are definitely a must see

Hue is a fantastic place to visit for a few days.

Hue is a fantastic place to visit for a few days. Restaurants and spas here are cheaper than HoChi Minh and Hoi An. The Imperial city and tombs are lovely. You can organise day trips to further afield. The Hai Van Pass between Hue and HoiAn s a must do, with scenic detours on the way.

Nice beaches and lagoons, especially Lap An Lagoon. You can go for a boat ride around the lagoon, visit oyster farms and Lang Co fishing village. Or take a mototaxi to nearby Lang Co beach, village market and to the Hai Van Pass. Stopover at Ga Lang Co , the little train station, and wait for the train to arrive. From there you can also have a nice view of the fishing village and Lang Co Bay. Enjoy the seafood at the seafood restaurants, eg. An Lagoon where you can dine by the lagoon and watch the sunset. Some homestay like BH Villa offers assistance in booking mototaxi, boat rides and taxi.
