This place is heaven! This boutique hotel is beautiful build around a big swimming pool. It’s very clean, rooms are very comfortable and is has 2 rooftop terraces filled with plants and amazing views. The staff (Hahn, Kien, Giang, Phuong and Chang) needs to have a 11 star rating. We never ever have experienced a service like this. They are so amazingly friendly! They go all the way and beyond for you. The 2 days we spend at the swimming pool they would show up and spoil us with fruit platters and tea. It’s location is perfect to. It’s not in a touristic location in the Ninh Binh area so it’s nice and quiet. But with a Grab or scooters (for rent at the hotel) you are in 10 to 15 minutes at all the hotspots. It’s perfectly located next to the Bai Dinh temple complex. Just a stroll away or a very short bike ride with the free available bikes. Due to the location it’s very easy to grab a bicycle and bike around the rural areas. Through the rice fields and little villages. There are lots of local restaurants in the neighbourhood (walking distance) but the restaurant at the hotel offers a lot of local and good western food for a very good price. Breakfast is a buffet with all options you could imagine. Between 4 and 5 pm every day there is a thee moment with fresh fruit, cookies and tea. We should have stayed only a few days but ended up staying eight nights and felt sorry we had to leave.

The property was a new property and nicely decorated by the family who own it. It had a pool as well and a Restaurant in the back. But what I liked especially was the family who run it! What a lovely family, kids playing and laughing and a real family value. The owners would go above and beyond for every guest and helped us with whatever we needed. They translate everything on their phone but will try to speak as much English as possible and their daughter is happy to practice her English with you. Their little boy is very excited to meet new people and invite you into the home stay. He was playing Lego and we joined in and shared our excitement when he finished. If ever we came here again we would stay at this home stay. The family really made the stay for us, the couple who own it really love their children and really provide the best hospitality and want their guests to have the best time. We hugged as we left and it was genuine and lovely.

The rooms were new, the bedlinen were perfect, the hosts were helpful and nice. A bit far from main tourist attractions, such as Tam Coc, but they are running tourist agency and could organize many kinds of tours. So if you are a lover of countryside life with comfort - this will suite you.

Awesome location just in the middle of the Bai Dinh temple. Everything there is just a few minutes walk away. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

We initially only booked because of the homestay’s great location near Bai Dinh complex. What we got was an incredible family owned Homestay. It was a unique experience to stay with such a kind family who offered wonderfully clean and comfortable accommodation and lovely home cooked meals. Whilst the owners couldn’t speak much English we were able to easily communicate through Google Translate and they were happy to do anything for us and organise transfers to Hanoi. If you are looking for peaceful and homely accomodation near Trang An/Bai Dinh then we highly recommend Pham Gia Eco
