Beautiful home, short walk to many shops & restaurants in Clarens. The kitchen, lounge & dining rooms were all open-plan space that was perfect for our family trip to spend time together in especially those rooms. Loved the indoor bbq-area next to the kitchen. The home is beautifully decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Big garden that the kids enjoyed. Amazing views of the mountains in the distance.

This place is situated in the best spot (central).
This place is situated in the best spot (central). The proactive communication allows easy transition/check-in. I absolutely loved the attention to detail, the cleanliness and the coffee bar was on point. The extra blanket and throws came in handy as it was raining. The views were breathtaking and the energies just so calm. We truly loved the stay and would like to do it again soon.

I admired the good old antique furniture on the hotel
What I did not like:
No coffee facilities inside rooms
TV in room poor reception and only two boring channels
One evening waiters were cold to me and ignoring me when asking for menu and I waited long before they served me

Sugar and Cinnamon, on the road from Clarens to Golden Gate served the most delicious breakfast, we had a lovely chat with the owner about things to do in the area. The waiters were friendly and made us feel at home. We visited Sandstone Estates - what a pleasant surprise! We took a trip down memory lane on their beautifully repaired steam train. We enjoyed the lovely Cherry Festival at IONIA Cherry Farm.

Bethlehem is a small town.
Bethlehem is a small town. It is not far from CLARENS and GOLDEN GATE. You can drive to these two places in less than an our. We spent the whole day in CLARENS and bought some few items. We had our lunch there and walked around without fear of being mugged. There is a very good security; there was a security company patrolling around.
