The location is beautiful - between the mountains and ocean, it takes about 30 mins to walk to the lighthouse and the southernmost point of Africa (5 mins by car) and I recommend to have a walk. The views are amazing! The house is very cosy and rooms have anything you may need including a small fridge and nespresso machine. They serve fresh artisan bread in the morning (among other things) and are ready to meet any dietary requirements of the guests. I also loved the soap and shower gel in the bathroom (all produced in SA), their delicate natural scents complement the atmosphere of the place perfectly.

Arniston Spa Hotel is situated on coastal cliffs, just 400 metres from Arniston Beach between two nature reserves.

If you are traveling to Struisbaai, and I don't see why you would not, the Chateau de Marine hotel is a perfect place to stay. The staff will do everything to make you feel the most comfortable you can ever be. The breakfast is delicious, the service very personal and sweet. The general manager is a fantastic woman, and she will make you feel at home in a heartbeat. The rooms are spacious and clean. We will be back!

Everything, the host has thoughtfully created this lovely place. Everything has be detailed out. They provide quality stuff and cleaning. Place is big and nice. The staff is fabulous. Toiletries are of quality. Real luxury place. We are planning to come back and relax if we are able to extend our stay.

Excellent Hotel with an Exceptional Hostess I stayed for one night at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The cleanliness and comfort of the room were impeccable. The room was spacious and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a large balcony. The common areas are also spacious and tastefully decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy. The breakfast is complete and delicious, offering a wide variety of options. But without a doubt, the highlight of this hotel is its hostess, Rahelah. She is a lovely person, super friendly and attentive, ensuring that you lack for nothing and making you feel right at home. She truly is a gem. The hotel is well-located and easily accessible, with good parking available. I highly recommend it 100% if you're looking for a pleasant stay on the coast.
