Was pleasantly surprised. At the price charged I was expecting a mediocre hotel. But this hotel far exceeded my expectations. Everything so clean, well maintained, excellent facilities. And to top it off we had to leave early and was offered an packed breakfast without asking.

The rooms are super comfortable, making your feel right at home. The ocean view is something else, and waking up to watch the sunrise from the balcony is priceless. The hotel is right across the beach, if you manage to deal with the cold water - some locals enjoying the beach from sunrise. The breakfast options are simple, but super super tasty and more than enough. It was a delight to meet the owners as well. Lovely people!

Debby was so friendly and welcoming. I immediately felt at home and welcome. It was a perfect stay. I wish I could have stayed longer. The location to the nice beach front areas of Cape Town were also so close, but removed enough to experience piece and quiet. Loved it.

Sunshine Cottage is a lovely place to stay in the area of Fish Hoek, and I would definitely recommend it. Very clean, comfortable, private, and spacious enough for two people. Great facilities and within walking distance to the beach. The place is quiet and has a supermarket (Spar) not far from. Private parking and excellent wifi. Comfortable bed and a great shower! Enjoyed the coffee, milk, and the biscuits that the hosts left for us too :-)
