We absolutely loved our stay at Zuurberg, and cannot recommend the place enough for anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing place to stay near Addo Elephant Park. The surroundings of the property are gorgeous, nestled in the mountains, and the property itself is also beautiful. Our bedroom looked just like the photos and was very comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. Customer service was impeccable and we felt welcome and well looked after from arrival. Alexandra was superb and helped us not only with information about our stay but also with extra tips for our ongoing journey. All the staff were lovely and always ready to help. We also did a whole day game drive and an elephant encounter, both experiences organized by the property and both excellent. Zuurberg was fantastic and we look forward to coming back!

We stayed here for one night on our way to Addo Elephant Park - we liked everything! Very private, safe and scenic accommodation with parking. Great helpful hosts, Jules and Greg, who made us feel very welcome. Beautiful grounds with a pond, views, and a cool relaxation area. We would like to have stayed longer.

The cottages and grounds were both excellent. A/C in the room was most welcome. Internet was very adequate to stream. Breakfast was great as were the two dinners we enjoyed. The patio restaurant a very nice setting. Pricilla is a very attentive host. Overall, very relaxing, like being at home.

It looked like a simple accomodation, but it was all but simple. A big dam provided ample swimming opportunities, an excellent outside and inside braai, ver comfortable bedrooms, a nice kitchen with all utilities, 24hr power, a dining room with a 1000 dollar view. And the host was lovely, she clearly is experienced and made sure we lacked nothing. Her attention for detail was astonishing, little things amazed us all the time.
