All meals were fantastic. and hospitality was amaizing!
We stayed there for our honeymoon, and a wonderful gift was kindly prepared in our room.
On the game drive, we were able to go deeper into the area than when we drove on our own, and were able to see valuable scenes of animals, such as lions eating their prey, from a distance of about 3 meters. We recommend staying at least 2 nights if possible. Thank you to Kapama for providing such a wonderful time.

The stay was better than we have expected. The hotel is amazing so are the rooms. The team is awesome. Linda and Jennifer took really good care of us and Caitlynn, our guide was amazing. She listened to us and helped us find the animals we were hoping to see. Marataba made our honeymoon awesome. It's truly one of the best hotels we've ever been to. The little attentions and surprises made our stay unforgettable.

I like the place because it is very quiet, one had a rest...
I like the place because it is very quiet, one had a rest without any noise.
The place is very near to Savannah Mall and we ate at Nando's.
What i did not like is the restriction of lights at night, some of us we are students and study at night and the was no provision of a small table and a chair, such should be corrected.

I liked the fact that kids are entertained in many ways, swimming, hiking, activities, animals, games, etc. Great for families!
The place really needs maintenance everywhere and they can improve on cleanliness and quality.
The accommodation is comfortable, but not luxurious, very basic.

A great location for some rest and relaxation.
A great location for some rest and relaxation. I went on a Big 5 safari game drive, and got to see the animals up close. I also had a heavenly spa experience at Karuna, and visited the nearby reptile park to see some rare snake species.
Lots of restaurants around to try out a variety of meals, I went to the Club House and had tasty ribs. Then the breakfast at Aragula is to die for.

The place is very spacious and calm. The full fridge/freezer was very welcome becaus we were on our way to Kruger Park and had our meat with us. Loved the privacy. Friendly host and help to locate a shop.

The owner should consider removing all those concrete bed...
The owner should consider removing all those concrete bed base,they are so uncomfortable and if you lose concentration moving around those small rooms you can easily get injured.The shower and toilets are so small ,it is difficult to move around.
I was booked for two nights but slept for only night and had to find alternative accomodation.They also have an entertainment area so on sunday the 27th April 2025,they play loud music as early as 10h00.

Our first family trip was beautiful and we did notice after booking that it’s not a self catering accommodation but a braai area for such a place will make the stay even more worthwhile. I didn’t like the beds we slept on they were just uncomfortable.

The place is in urgent need of an upgrade. Almost all the kitchen items were dirty. The pots and pans were old and scratched. The knives were blunt. The dishwasher was broken. The bathroom mats looked like they belonged outside. The grill was rusty. The microwave is extremely old. The living room couches were terribly dirty, and the cushions were worn out and flat. The owner’s personal belongings, like cool boxes, were scattered around. The tap at the kitchen counter had no running water. The shower mats were mouldy.
The advertisement of the rooms on the website did not match what we got. The single beds were extremely hard, and the bedding was old.
The dishwasher was extremely dirty, mouldy, and broken.
The pool cues had no tips.

This is a good stopover, particularly for overseas tourists who will thoroughly enjoy the serene beauty of the reserve and the freedom to walk around. The surroundings are relaxing and the staff very pleasant and informative.

Phalaborwa as a town was a deep disappointment.
Phalaborwa as a town was a deep disappointment. The roads are in a very bad state and the general condition of the streets, pavements and rubbish lying around is a disgrace for the municipality. There are no streetlights working and the overall deterioration of the town is the last thing one wants to show overseas visitors. The tar road leading to the Kruger gate is obviously in a good condition but that is all. The Pick and Pay and the Spur are closed due to a fire incident and there are not a lot of restaurants to go to dinner for.
