Woolley Bugger Farm is beautifully situated 22km of off road driving (20-30 mins) out of Dullstroom through lovely landscape. On arrival we had a nice, detached house with wonderful views across the fishing ponds (they hire rods to). Great marked walks around their land and marvellous selection of plants and wildlife. The house had all we needed from kitchen to bathroom and a covered porch with BBQ. There’s amazingly even two local places to eat.

Aero Lodge is the place to stay and relax. My family enjoyed to stay here with so much comfort. The manager Aqualine was so helpful and the staff were very friendly. When I got back from the work, the rooms were cleaned daily. Thank you very much for the warm welcome and great service. We are looking forward to stay again at this wonderful lodge.
P.S. The house cat was also friendly and my children had a good time with her

Everything was perfect! The place was spotless and so well looked after. Linda was incredibly kind and helpful. She even cleaned the Weber for us and gave us a beach umbrella for the baby. We were 10 people and 5 dogs, and it was the most fun weekend ever. The space was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

the staff is very friendly and immediately greeted us upon arrival. They gave us useful tips on where to eat and where to shop. The room was very clean and rather big. Breakfast is amazing, delicious and has a personal touch. The Guest House really felt like staying over at a good friend. Absolutely recommend this place!

Very warm welcome by the owners who have succeeded in making their guesthouse feel very much like home. Spacious room with all amenities! We had dinner at Lamor which was of very high quality and very yummy. A super tasteful dessert was included. Breakfast was equally good. A perfect stay!

The room is really clean and had everything we needed! We felt really safe and came back for another night. It is perfect located when you are travelling from Johannesburg to Kruger Nationalpark and wanna do a stop in between.

The place itself is very peaceful. The quietness gives you time to clear your mind and just relax. The fact that there is remote controlled gates it a big plus, because no one can just enter the premises without a key.

:-(. We came for Nationals for racing to only use teh facility for sleep over a hot shower. We had to bath morning and night with cold water and bed was too high and hard. Not a peaceful's night sleep. When we told the caretaker about the hot water, he was ignorant and delayed us further.
Two days ago our racing friends experienced the same and it was not sorted. The entire facility there was cold water. you cant have two geysers for so many rooms. Although they have everything key essentials were not on point making our stay very frustrating. We definitely wont be back including our racing friends as well. We demand a refund!!! No value for money!

Travel Lodge is nicely designed, however the furniture, bed and bathroom is horrid. My dogs have better sleep facilities. Definitely not recommended! The description and pics are misleading. We had to cut our stay short without a refund!

The annual 'Karoo Winter Wool Festival' brought us to Middelburg, and was well-worth attending. The Karoo landscape is absolutely beautiful. The town of Middelburg, like many towns in South Africa, is in need of care, but the people are warm and friendly. Nieu-Bethesda and it's well-known Owl House is also just an hour's drive away.

The streets are full of holes, the traffic lights don't work. No restaurants are open after 19:00.
Hennies shows that they close at 00h00, but was closed before 10 on Saturday

Middleburg, Eastern Cape, is a rural town with all the necessary amenities and is a good stop-over on your way to Gauteng
However, there is a lot of heavy iron ore trucks passing through and Middleburg is a en-route and stop over point
