We booked Gondwana to celebrate a special birthday with our daughter and her family. It couldn't have been more special;the location, the villa, the "clubhouse", the staff, the food, the ambiance. Everything was more than excellent but the icing on the cake definitely was having Tracy as our game-guide. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions, had a fun personality, was able to spot where specific animals might be and a very good driver on the challenging terrain after the rains..
In all one of the most amazing experiences of our lives, grateful that we could spend this time with our family at such an exquisite resort.

We absolutely loved our stay at the bush villas – a beautiful, peaceful spot right in the heart of nature. Surrounded by wildlife and stunning scenery, it truly felt like a hidden gem. The setting was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff went out of their way to be nice and made the stay extra special.

Lovely area.
Lovely area. We visited Santos Beach which is a blue flag beach. Wonderful white sand. Free parking, sun shades and toilets. We ate in the Santos Express Train cafe and were lucky enough to have a tour of the train accommodation. Very nice. We also visited Mossel Zipline, the longest zipline over the ocean, in the world. A must for thrill seekers.

The region offers very diverse landscapes : see beech, mountains, wetlands. For us, nature lover it was a paradise.

Seeplaas was excellent. Will definitely go again. The room was clean and well laid out. The view and sound of the ocean is heavenly. Enjoyed breakfast every morning, also looking at the sea the whole time. Saw whales and dolphins playing right in front of seeplaas.

Main purpose of our visit was game watching. And this turned out to be excellent. Being very lucky to spot all kinds of animals we had the privilage to be accompanied by an outstanding guide - „King David“. Knowledgeable, experienced, helpful and very friendly. Thanks a lot, David!
Suggestion for improvement: We missed dustbins and better cleaning service in our room…

Love the tranquility of the area.
Love the tranquility of the area. The beaches are pretty and clean. Dolphins appear often while walking the beaches in the morning. Scenery is amazing with the mountain view one side and the beach the other side.

Mossel Bay is a great place to stay.
Mossel Bay is a great place to stay. Santos beach, Maritime Museum. The Point, Spur at the Point was but a few of the wonderful places we visited. The roads are great without potholes and it is easy and safe to get around by car or on foot.

It’s been one of the best places to break away since my grandparents went on holidays. Hartenbos has kept up with the times and can proudly boast with its holiday atmosphere. If you havent been, make sure to go as soon as you are able.

Steve has very special accommodations in a very special location. He assisted me with finding the accommodation at night as it’s somewhat “ off the beaten track” which is why it’s so special.

Our two night stay was better than we expected.
Our two night stay was better than we expected. The games drives were excellent because we had to find the animals (they were not in pre-arranged locations). Our guide (Ruan) was brilliant and did whatever was needed to ensure we saw everything. Accommodation was comfortable. Would recommend stay at the lodge. Staying in one of the villas means a 15-20 drive to the lodge for the game drives (2 each day) and breakfast, lunch and dinner.

It is a beautiful, still developing town by the coast..my family and I enjoyed walking along the beach and seeing fishing activities, people surfing, enjoying some well-known restaurants like Cattle Baron, Spur and other unique ones to the area. There's malls, hotels, caravan parks next to the ocean and we also went to the indoor market, where lots of interesting and beautiful things are sold, from food, to leather bags, to canvases to put on your walls. It is a peaceful, laid back & fun area. For the adventurers, there is zipline.
