On arrival, the welcoming and orientation from the owners was warm and lovely. The room, bed (so sweet decorated with chocolates, coffee, towels, gowns and shoes), bedding, breakfast, environment with swimming pool, seating outside and everything about our stay was just amazing. I will definitely choose Ballinderry again and advise other people to choose this guest house. It felt like home away from home obviously so much better.

The area where these houses are located are great. Its so beautiful and quiet. The house has everything you need for a few days of relaxation. I loved the braai (barbeque area) and the kitchen was very well equipped.
We passed by here when doing the garden route and its a great place to stay for a day or two. No neighbours and peace and quiet.

The staff were friendly. At dinner I asked if I could taste each of the white wines, as I had tasted the reds at the blending. It was no problem at all. The breakfast was an amazing spread with a little of everything.
There was ample coffee and tea supplied in your room in case you felt like a second or even third cup.

Absolutely lovely place in the center of Robertson. Secure parking inside the gates. Our room was upstairs which was really beautiful overlooking the property. Nice swimming pool with a relaxing area and a fantastic breakfast. We can really recommend this place with all the nice details and the lovely birds.

The safari tents are very well equipped in a stunning location. We ordered the braai and breakfast baskets which were perfect for a short stay with minimal effort. The team also delivered firewood to our tent prior to our arrival.

We found that the people in the town were extremely helpful...
We found that the people in the town were extremely helpful and friendly and would go out of their way for you, making your visit very pleasant.
We had delicious food at Jimmy's and Tebaldi's.We tasted the scrumptious monster burgers from the food truck that comes every Tuesday and Thusday.
I even had a back massage offered by Charmaine who runs a shop with pamper treatments.

A quaint little town with all the amenities. 'Tim Jan' store and the 'Cheese factory shop' on the outskirts of the town are a must for those few things you may have forgotten. browsing the secondhand shops was also a rewarding experience.
The only 'negative' we arrived on a public holiday early in the morning and there was no place where we could have a cup of coffee... something to consider for the 'early morning' arrivals. This however did not detract from the overall 'Bonnievale' experience :)

A quiet town between Robertson and Montagu, surrounded by...
A quiet town between Robertson and Montagu, surrounded by vinyards and orchards. Shopping and dining within 10 to 20 minutes of scenic driving. Montagu had a lovely, intimate market, selling home made jams, preserves, cakes, clothing and some brick a brac. Robertson had live music and delicious meals at Bourbon Street restaurant, on the main road. Beautiful historic buildings and wine farms close by. Don't forget to by wine!

Im a avid angler and this place met up to my expectations, 3 night stay over 30 carp best one 10ks+,should put more enthesis on angling. Can be a bit of a childrens playground but you can get away from that. Mid week in school time perfect.

Robertson is a wonderful place, lots to do.
Robertson is a wonderful place, lots to do. Great wine farms and lovely people. Food is nice as there are many locations for lunch, breakfast and Dinner. We always travel here for the wine farms, so safe to say if you are a fan, you are in the right place!

It is well worth the trip from Cape town.
It is well worth the trip from Cape town. The little town has quaint shops, a very good coffee shop and I had the most delicious apple pie ever from the farmers' market. The delightful little cottage was perfect for our needs.

Lots to do, lots of places around Ashton to visit. We enjoyed the Market which had a wine boutique, restaurant. Nursery and shop all in one building. Montagu was quite near and all the Estates in Robertson. Four Cousins restaurant is a definite to vidit

The cabins were fine. Idyllic spot . We had a nasty incident where there was a man on the property pretending to be the manager, but turned out to be a con man and a thief. We had to call a security company. Very unnerving. No sign of the owner's, no apology.security needs to be jacked up,
