Lovely and spacious cottage which was well equipped with all sorts of amenities which made the stay comfortable and cozy in the cold. Lots of "hints" and info, how things work or where something can be found made it easy to find out how everything is working in the accommodation without second guessing. Last but not least, a very friendly and accommodating hostess!

Scenery was fantastic, rooms were very spacious and beautifully decorated, staff was very friendly. Could not name a single thing to improve.

The accommodation over the lake was mesmerising, especially the sunsets. Even though there were power cuts (frequently), the place had gas stove and gas hot wet systems which was perfect. The walks we amazing.

I absolutely loved the garden and the breathtaking mountain views! The accommodation is perfectly situated—whether you're planning to hike or head up to Lesotho, the location couldn’t be better. The hosts were fantastic—warm, incredibly helpful, and always willing to answer any questions we had. The kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped, including an air fryer which is ideal for preparing light meals. That said, there are also several great restaurants nearby if you’d prefer to eat out. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully fitted with a heater to keep it cosy during winter. The full bathroom was a lovely bonus, perfect for a relaxing bath or a refreshing shower. Overall, a peaceful and comfortable stay—I’d highly recommend it!
