Wonderful, quiet lodge in the middle of nature with lovely rooms, comfortable beds, great food and especially amazing staff who is always there for you. They do everything to make your stay perfect. Thanks so much Darius, Enevia and all! Will definitely come back next time I'm in Zambia and can highly recommend to stay at the Royal Sichango Village.

    Wow what a hidden gem this place is! The service is outstanding and the care you receive is above and beyond for a 3 star hotel. From the moment you arrive until you leave you are very well looked after. Caroline, Ken & Destiny are so lovely and kind, made us feel very much at home. The breakfast is cooked to your liking, we spent 8 nights here and enjoyed every day. The pool is kept clean everyday. Its lovely and quiet too. The only thing I would suggest is that they start providing lunch and dinner. We did order from Zest restaurant a few times but it arrived cold, but the brilliant hotel staff did warm it up for us. There is a supermarket 5 minute walk away called Choppies. Where the lodge is based there is no street lighting so not recommended to go out after dark. We booked our trips with Chikondi safaris & Tours +260 97 5730682 Chande knowledge is excellent and offers a wide range of trips.     A real adventure! The Lodge is situated far away from the city, right at the shore of the Sambesi River. Extremely quiet and peaceful at night with a million stars above. But be careful: The hippos come out of the river at night and you better stay inside of your chalet. We were instructed that this would happen and at night they accompanied us from dinner to our chalets. Super friendly staff organized a tour to the Victoria falls and through the city of Livingstone.

    Great laid back place, good for a couple or as a solo traveler. It is quite close to the vic falls entrance and they have an on-site bar + a restaurant for breakfast. They assist with everything you need including ordering food at night.

    Loved everything, lots to do and see.

    Loved everything, lots to do and see. Loved seeing the local elephants strolling along the roads. Going on a sunset river cruise is well worth doing. Visiting the cultural village. We ate at our own hotel as the food was excellent

    I've travelled to Livingstone before so I knew what to...

    I've travelled to Livingstone before so I knew what to expect. My husband has mobility issues and everyone we met made him feel welcome which was very important to me. We didn't bother with a car as the local taxis were reasonable and comfortable.

    Obviously the Falls - and the Zambian side is without the...

    Obviously the Falls - and the Zambian side is without the best viewing aspect. The township is clean and has most amenities with the Museum being its highlight. A sunset river cruise is a must do and a helicopter flight is well worth the price.
