Beautiful place, the view is beautiful. They offered us a coconut juice upon arrival. The breakfast was really good, the orange juice was fresh orange juice. There is AC in the tent and a fan, it was cool and smelled really nice. It's surrounded by nature, the shower area was so beautiful, it's outside and you get the full nature experience. There is no bus to el mirador from miramar, so make sure you plan yourself well to get there. I was informed by a local that the taxis from miramar charge 15 000 colones to go to el mirador ( its a 15 minute car ride from miramar to el mirador). If you're leaving from san jose, you have to take a bus from san jose to barranca then you have to take a bus from barranca to miramar. The bus from barranca to san jose, it's roughly 1h30 minutes or 2 hours, depending on the bus and route you take. When we returned to san jose, the bus from miramar to barranca cost us 1000 colones for 2, and the bus from barranca to san jose cost 7000 colones each. It's a very romantic place, we had a good time. Also, make sure you are not bothered by bugs, because at times at night, bugs come inside the tent, spiders, flys, we had to put the AC on and we also closed the lights to prevent more of them from coming inside. If you have anxiety with bugs, spiders, then think carefully, as there will be bugs in the toilet area and inside the tent. It's a unique experience, I really loved it. It was raining when we arrived, so we were laying down, watching the rain, and enjoying the beautiful view. You can see the full moon in the middle of the night, very beautiful moment. Also when you cook, the kitchen is outside, so make sure you buy a mosquito spray because there is a lot of mosquitos in the area or you can just order from local restaurants, cost us 11 000 colones for two meals and that was including delivery.

The hotel was absolutely fabulous - the setting is incredible. As soon as we arrived and went on to our balcony we saw a sloth and macaws. Toucans and squirrels monkeys were regular visitors too. The staff were incredibly helpful - by far the best service i have received in any hotel I have stayed in. Would absolutely recommend.

We loved eating every evening together with them and the cook. Taking Time to chat or play games. It feels like a family. The location is perfect right by the sea with a surfbreak that you only share with one or two persons. Turtle nesting right on the beach. We loved it ! Among the various facilities of this property are a terrace and a bar. Each room is fitted with a balcony. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make our own meals. The pool and grounds were very clean and the surroundings were peaceful and scenic. We were looking for a quiet place to recharge in between more busy stops and this place completely nailed it! Quiet (except for howler monkey wake-up call:-) which we loved) and restful! Tons of beautiful birds and incredible array of birdsong! Will definitely go back.

This was an amazing stay for our family and will for sure be back for a longer stay as soon as possible. The location was optimal, walking distance to the beach and everything around dowtown Jaco. The facility was awesome with a pickleball court, beautiful pool and gym. The condo was equipped with everything we could possibly need and was very comfortable!
