The hotel provides an indoor pool, sauna, entertainment staff and a kids' club. staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. We arrived not being able to speak German and didn't know our way around. It was after 6pm when we arrived but the staff showed us directly to our accommodation.

Set in Ofterschwang and with bigBOX Allgäu reachable within 30 km, Sonnenalp Resort provides concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a terrace, free WiFi throughout the property and a bar. Among the various facilities are a tennis court and a ski pass sales point. The resort offers an outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, nightclub and a kids' club. This is one of the one of the hotels that we love and my husband’s family is was a loyal customer since years. So we know the hotel very well. Unfortunately this time the room wasn’t that beautiful according the price we paid. The “renovated” bath was extremely small and the shower was terrible. It was on a standard of a 3-star hotel. The pillows were so uncomfortable. The sheets and the blankets were wrinkled. When they set up the sofa bed the furniture just moved unorganized and the decorative pillows were left on the floor. Therefore our stay wasn’t that pleasant and comfortable according to our other stays. We had to change our room type so we paid extra of 235€ for each night which was so overrated.
