Diving was secure and Jimmy made our experience awesome in Bunaken with a lot of turtles and rays. Grace made everything from food, our comfort in the bungalow and evening chat to an unforgettable stay! The boat crew were amazing! Took us out for an extra tour to see dolphins but unfortunately they were not to be seen. If you want to be away from city sounds and pollution, way out in the peace of the countryside among farms and mountain views — and if you are a person who enjoys the ruggedness of tent or A-frame cabin camping, then you will love Wawowow. Alvin has built this off-the-grid retreat himself, adding to it each year. He and his staff are caring and helpful. The well laid out grounds are covered in lawns and most if not all tents and cabins have small brick firepits. Alvin can provide the firewood for them. When I was there a number of people sat around these campfires at night singing and playing guitars. No sound amplification is allowed. Some people chose to stay on the grounds for several days. I used it as a jumping off place each morning to tour different parts of the Tomohon area each day., returning each evening.

Guests at the resort will be able to enjoy activities in and around Bunaken, like hiking. This was one of my favorite stays in Indonesia. The view from the room was amazing, the staff were very friendly and the food was the best on my trip. The vibe of Bunaken is very relaxed and the snorkeling is amazing right in front of the Panorama Cottages. If you stay at Panorama Cottages you will eat with the guests from Panorama Backpackers, and there is a lot of great company. I tried snorkeling directly in front of the property and also joined a tour. Both are worth it. The fish and turtles on the reef are incredible, and the prices are excellent for the tours and equipment rental. I also appreciated the quality of the rental equipment because you never know what you will get when you rent.

Where do I start ……it’s family owned, it’s fabulous location , kind and friendly staff , fresh and delicious food , beautifully built traditional wooden accommodation, transfers to and from the airport were impeccable, on time and safe, and lastly on the edge of a jungle but fantastic Wi-Fi reception.

The nearest airport is Sam Ratulangi Airport, 20 km from the property. Had a few mishaps with flights and did not think we would actually make it to Bunaken. From the moment you arrive you are in paradise. The staff are what make this resort 5 stars. We have stayed at many luxury resorts and dive resorts around the world and Bunaken Oasis is our top 3. Service, staff, food, diving, room, the pool was all amazing. We stayed 3 nights and wish we stayed longer. Room has a Nespresso machine, water filter in room, beds are huge and comfy! We opted for full board which is a la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. So much food and the food is actually good, big portions and you can order whatever and have as much as your stomach allows. Dive boats, dive guide and dive gear are top notch. We saw heaps of turtles and highly recommend Buanken for diving. Little extras like watching the sunset in the pool and staff bringing out beverages without us even having to ask. Such a romantic and magical resort and highly recommend. The surprise at the end of your stay is so special and very thankful to have stayed at this resort.

Thalassa Dive & Wellbeing Resort boasts 1 outdoor pools in the shade of jungle gardens, a restaurant as well as a lounge & cafe. Scuba diving can be arranged on site, while free WiFi is accessible throughout the entire resort. - very comfortable and calm place - perfect also for transit if you want to relax after a journey through North-Sulawesi before your backflight - good breakfast - unfortunately only stayed last night before flying back so I couldn't go diving with the crew..but what I heard from the other guests diving also works well with the crew

Siladen Resort & Spa is an eco-friendly beachfront resort with an outdoor pool, a private beach area and a restaurant overlooking the ocean. Water sports facilities are provided on site and WiFi is accessible for free in public areas. What an extraordinary place. Extremely comfortable cottages with lovely indoor/outdoor baths. Location is incredible along the coast of this small coral island. The staff are some of the friendliest, most helpful and kind I've ever met and of course, the diving is extraordinary!
