The price for a night is high but for good reasons. The staff is very courteous and attentive. The whole hotel is clean and nicely decorated. We had an unfortunate incident in our room and we didn't want to make a fuzz about it but the hotel staff were extremely apologetic and did all they could to make us feel comfortable by changing our room (which we did not expect). We truly loved the breakfast as well! So many different options and a nice selection of fruits were included. Dining in the hotel is quite pricey but expected of the place you are staying in. I was especially impressed that during the hi-tea session, my dietary requirements were filled without questions. You can see that they want all of the guests to have a good snack and not to be left out. Also, the hi-tea session had really-really amazing food options in general. I would say it was lavish, exactly as the hotel itself. If you want to enjoy the sea and the waves, the hotel has a little strip of beach that is being constantly cleaned by the staff. Just sit down, relax and look into the abyss of nature.

I decided to go here after reading all the amazing reviews about this place, vibe, hospitality and food. And it did not disappoint :) The deers are everywhere!! We opted to go for the bird watching activity and the guide was extremely well versed with all the birds. They also have freshly made jams and pickles for sale. I love the fact that this place felt so homely and they employ the local folk from the nearby village. If you're lucky, you might end up spotting elephants or bears.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Grande Bay Resort and Spa Mamallapuram is located in Mahabalipuram. It is a 5-minute walk from Mahabalipuram Beach. It is a beautiful resort built around a big swimming pool with rows of frangipani trees. The rooms are nice and well appointed. The AC and hot water work very well. You can regulate the AC so that it doesn’t blow on the bed (if you want it). The balcony is a bonus. Breakfast is very good and the staff is polite and professional. All is very clean. I would like especially thank the reception staff for giving me a quiet (and beautiful) room as asked, I appreciate it a lot. And the sea view was fabulous! The breakfast staff was extremely kind too.

Das Chidambaram Villas - A Luxury Heritage Resort befindet sich in Chettinad, nur 5 km vom Fort Tirumayam und vom Bahnhof Tirumayam entfernt. Phenomenal stay in chidambara vilas. The hospitality was so warm, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The restaurant staff took such special care of my daughter's order. I cannot recommend this hotel enough! The people and history of this place were just amazing. The banana leaf lunch was the best we had in our India trip!

Not only the facility was amazing, they were also offering several activities to get in touch with the local community and enjoy the local culture. Our kids loved them all!
