The room was large and the out door area was fantastic. There was a large grassy area where our dogs could play and the pool area looked amazing. We were given the room code and entrance was very easy, parking is very easy as well.

Keep it in the family and go to La Pergola restaurant one of the best seafood restaurants in the area with its own parking and only a short walk into Tropea old town.

Nice and helpful staff, nice pool , good food. Nothing to complain about. Shuttle van to the beach (each 30 minutes).

Having read all the reviews I had high expectations which were more than met. The room and terrace were spotlessly clean. The breakfast absolutely delicious with everything prepared by hand in the kitchen..I've never eaten so much cake for breakfast. Anna was the most welcoming host nothing was a problem and she offered a late check out on our last day. Tropea itself is the most charming of villages and the residenza is in very quite and tranquil part of town.

Popilia Country Resort is a 4-star property set 7 km from the seafront and a 10-minute drive from Pizzo Calabro. With its hillside position, the property has a seasonal outdoor pool, free WiFi and a bar. Love this resort! Such picturesque views! The only issue is that a long drive up mountain to get to it. Otherwise, it's just beautiful. Great breakfast, too!
