The Talek river view restaurant had a perfect river view and the food was amazing and they made sure we get the food pack for the days when we went for game drive Overall me and my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will come back whenever we plan our next safari (In sha Allah).

Food was also nice, the shower water was very hot and nice, and internet was super fast in our room. We also got hippos serenading every night and the sound of river and friendly dikdiks right in front of our room.

Speaking of meals, the culinary offerings at the resort were outstanding. They catered to our specific dietary needs and every dish was a delightful fusion of local and international flavors. If you're Indian, you'll definitely love the Masala Dosa, Phulka, and Butter Chicken - they were absolutely delicious! But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the safari experience. As an amateur wildlife photographer, I was thrilled with the expertise of our guides, Benson and Simat. They not only ensured our safety but also provided us with valuable insights and thrilling encounters with the wildlife. They understood the needs of a photographer and positioned the safari vehicle perfectly to capture those breathtaking moments. They even went the extra mile by providing a bed in the vehicle for my comfort, as I was experiencing back pain from all the photography. Overall, our stay at the Lorian was truly unforgettable. The attention to detail, the warm hospitality, and the incredible safari experience made it a trip of a lifetime. We can't wait to visit again!
