Beautiful hotel with a phenomenal view of both the city and the bay. The accommodations were outstanding, beautifully furnished, and luxurious. Delicious food served by the restaurant and staff that go out of their way to accommodate any requests. The pools were clean and a perfect temperature. Less than a 10-min easy walk into old, colonial PV. Can’t say enough good things about Marcela Resort & Spa. Hated leaving and look forward to our return.

Our balcony overlooked the ocean and river, where a few American crocodiles live! Everything was spotless, the pools were wonderful and service terrific all around.

The spacious holiday home has 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with sea views. Guests can take in the views of the mountain from the balcony, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. The host gave us the number of the housekeeper/cook and we arranged directly with her to provide us with breakfast every day and she cooked us an evening meal on four nights. She is a very good cook and was super helpful and patient with us whilst we used DeepL translate to communicate our wishes!

The 1 and 2-bedroom suites are also equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer. Kids eat and stay for free when booking the All-inclusive rate. Food was phenomenal! No buffets here, all customized and made to order.

The entire property is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The all inclusive experience was excellent. Every meal was perfectly prepared. This was truly hospitality at its best.
