Alværa Misionssenter Sommerhotel has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Lavik. Boasting free shuttle service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. There is a children's playground and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

All rooms at the resort are fitted with a private bathroom and bed linen. Lovely little hidden pearl with plenty of activities for children. Dinner (250nok pp) and breakfast was home cooked and tasty. You can go fishing if you’d like by the fjord that is a mere 50 meters away. Rooms are decorated in the usual utilitarian Norwegian cabin style. Beds were very comfortable! The staff and other guests were all very friendly making this feel like visiting a hearty family! Cannot recommend this place enough (especially if you plan to take the ferry from Larvik to Flåm, or elsewhere). Note: We are not religious, just visited as we were passing by on our roadtrip.
