Souika, Chefchaouene
Situated in Chefchaouene, Dar Dadicilef is a historic riad that features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a terrace. It is located 300 metres from Kasba and provides luggage storage space. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. It’s super basic, which is expected at that price. But it’s gorgeous little place and has an incredible solemn and calming atmosphere. And Ahmed is a wonderful man, calm, helpful and very polite. I would go back to Chefchaoune just to stay there…
El Kharrazine, Chefchaouene
Located 400 metres from Kasba, Riad abi khancha offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The property features mountain and city views, and is 400 metres from Mohammed 5 Square. The riad has family rooms. This was our first stop on a multi-city tour of medinas in Morocco in advance of our daughter's wedding in Marrakesh. We had little idea of what to expect. Our visit was exceptional. Mohamed met us at the entry to the medina and handled our luggage all the way up to our room. We were then offered Moroccan tea and sweets on the rooftop where we first saw the panorama of the Blue City. He, and the entire staff, were warm and welcoming. He gave us great recommendations for places to see and where to eat. All of his suggestions were perfect. Breakfasts were magnificent and coupled with views that provided us with a lifetime of memories. Our walk to the Spanish mosque on our final morning there provided views that will be forever etched in our minds. We had one plumbing issue that was corrected immediately. Staying there was the perfect spot to making us comfortable in Morocco and lessened any anxiety we might have had in staying at unknown to us riads. Last thing, our room had a view of the local school. That might not seem ideal to many people, but for us it was nice to hear the excited voices of young people during the day and particularly when they had phys ed or recess. If we ever return to Chefchaouen, we would stay there again in a heartbeat.

With a private bathroom fitted with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer, units at the riad also feature free WiFi, while some rooms also feature a balcony. At the riad, units come with bed linen and towels. The cold mountain city of Chefchouen felt especially warm because of Nejet and Abdel. When we arrived due to lack of communication we were not able to find the address and therefore had to take help of porters to reach the place. The entire path I was wondering why there are stairs and such a confusing path when all the reviews I read talked about a fairly simple route. Turns out the porters tricked us and took us from a complicated route. I was slightly disappointed fearing whether I took the right call in booking this Dar. Turns out all my fears were baseless! Such warm hospitality. My husband and I loved interacting with Nejet, Abdel and Souka. Special shout out to Abdel, who is also an international fine arts artist, for being so proactive. Everytime we needed directions to go somewhere he personally walked us to that place. This happened thrice during our stay for a day. We wanted to book tickets on the CTM bus for Fes for the next day and I requested Nejet if she can book it on her app and paid her the MAD amount. They actually went down to the bus station to get us our tickets! If we ever come back to Chefchouen I know it will be just for the hospitality of Nejet and Abdel ❤️ The location is amazing! Every interesting scenic place is within walking distance. The breakfast spread is so tasty you’ll not find that taste anywhere in Morocco. If visiting Morocco definitely keep one night for Chefchouen. A lot of people do day trips from Tangier but if you are not staying at Dar el Fanne you really don’t know what you are missing out on

At the riad, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. The experience was excellent. The hotel is an antique house that is very clean and quiet, as no cars are allowed in the area. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the balcony, which overlooked the stream, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's only a few minutes’ walk to the spring and the old city, and if you enjoy walking, you can easily reach the mountains as well.

I had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful Riad in Chefchaouen. The staff were exceptionally kind and professional—always smiling and ready to help with anything. The rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was delicious and varied, served with a stunning view of the mountains or the blue city. Absolutely stunning Riad with stunning traditional colours. Perfect location. Right behind the Kasbah 3mins walk. Lovely brekfast, egg, bread, jam, coffee. Overall loved it for a short stay
Great location, friendly staff and typical Moroccan house.
Beautiful riad with astonishing view of the medina from the rooftop. Very relaxing and quite atmosphere. Super well located. Kind owner, always there to help. Nice breakfast in the courtyard. Highly recommended, we would love to stay again and again.
Location was very central in the Medina. The room was very spacious and quiet. We loved the free breakfast which was a traditional Moroccan spread that was served on the terrace. The service from Hamid (?) was very very good - he was such a lovely guy.
This riad is beautiful! It's very new but resembles an original ancient Moroccan house, and some extra new parts are still in the making. Mohammed is kind, helpful and will show you the place around. The room was amazing, with a big sofa and bathroom. Breakfast is very good and abundant and you can have it on the terrace with a great view of Chefchaouen. The location is perfect, inside the Medina and close to the main attractions. Can't wait to be back here!
traditional Moroccan house, everything is designed in this style. Beautiful view for the city from hill
Casa Amina is a stunning retreat that seamlessly combines traditional Moroccan charm with modern luxury. The warm and attentive staff made me feel like a cherished guest throughout my stay. The hotel's beautiful architecture and serene courtyard provided a peaceful escape in the heart of the bustling medina. I highly recommend Casa Amina Hostel for an unforgettable experience in Chefchaouen.
As most of chefchaouen is against a hill there will be climbing involved! The amazing riad manager, Yusef, not only came to welcome us from our drop-off point, but also carried our bags up the steep stairs to the riad. The raid itself is small, cozy, colourful with a great rooftop and well-equipped rooms. Breakfast was very yummy and in line with traditional Moroccan breakfast included fresh orange juice, egg omelette, variety of Moroccan breads, yogurts, fruit and coffee).
