It was the best decision of our trip to Belgium to stay at the B&B Colombe Blanche. Every tiny detail of this wonderful place is filled with the deepest love of the owners. If you like a bit of a remote place to stay but still close enough to get to Brugge this this is ideal. Only 1 hour 20 mins from Calais by car. We stayed for two nights for the Christmas markets and went to Brussels and Brugge by train, the station is only a 5 minute drive away with free parking, or a 25 minute walk. Brugge by train is 11 minutes and has a good service. The rooms are a touch of luxury with all the facilities you would need and set in a stunning location. The hotel offers breakfast which was very good and a great selection. We had a meal in the restaurant which was very nice, on the slightly higher price but well worth the money. The owners were great and even gave us a lift to the train station, they went out off there way to make our stay very enjoyable. If you want a weekend away in Brugge in a nice quite location then we would highly recommend the Hostellerie Hof Ter Doest.
