This is not called a Palace for no reason, from an enormous beautifully decorated Christmas tree, extravagant reception and entrance to the amazing breathtaking view of lake Geneva from the room, this hotel really made one feel like royalty from the moment you arrive. It does come with a hefty price but it is truly breathtaking and really memorable!

The majestic Victoria Hotel can be found in Glion above Montreux (connected by funicular) and is renowned for its breathtaking views of Lake Geneva and the snow-capped Alps.

Amazing place full of history in a calm and beautiful place. Extremely welcoming, I would say it was best welcoming in the world when we arrived. The restaurant was already closed but we were treated with delicious improv dinner in the room. Nice lake view and easy way to have a nice walk up to the mountains as the hotel is situated up the hill almost above the town. All the hotel rooms & public places really elegant, lake & mountain range view from my room was just outstanding. Also enjoyed to follow with eyes a train climbing a hill. Everything is so picturesque here. Definitely would like to come back

The location was excellent in the centre of town with possibilities to access different services, coffee shops, markets, restaurants etc.The view over the lake was breathtaking.The personnel of the hotel was very polite, warm and helpful with the information we demanded.

The location is right across the street from the train station. You are a minute to the lake and in the centre of everything. The beds were extremely comfortable. So much so I am switching out my beds at home for the same! Good breakfast ans service. Lovely higher priced hotel but worth the money.

I loved everything. 1.The receptionist, called Diane, checked me in. She was so competent and welcoming. 2. The room was divine with the softest sheets and such a confortable bed. The air-conditioning works perfectly. 3. The view of Lac Leman, backed by the Alps, was exquisite. 4. The breakfast had everything you could want. 5. To cool down, a dip in the hotel pool or in the lake right at the hotel, were ideal options.
