Such a lovely staff and a place! We felt like we were in a castle. You have to be aware that hotel is a renovated old building with antique furniture. It smells like wood, it squeeks but (if you like that kind of decor) it’s beautiful and there is so much soul in it. Surroundings of the hotel is stunning. You see mountains, trees and even lake in the distance. It must be beautiful in every season. Waking up in a room surrounded with pines and seeing a squirrel there is a treasure memory. Everything is very clean - room, bathroom, bedding, huge towels. Staff members are the loveliest Swiss people I encountered! Lady and gentleman serving meals are so sweet and warm. All three people working at the reception are very helpful and kind. Also, we got a card that gives free commuting in the city and around. It is incredibly generous thing to get from a hotel. I would kindly recommend this place because of it’s uniqueness.

The location is great. It’s very easy to access to the hiking trail and you can take a walk alongside the lake. The sunset and the sunrise views are breathtaking. I extremely love the restaurant while I was enjoying my breakfast. Reserve a window table and you can enjoy the lake view perfectly.
