Hotel Villa Colonial is in a great location in Zona Colonial. It's in a safe area. The facilities are so beautiful, comfortable and retain a homey atmosphere. The Teams were all so welcoming and helpful. They speak different languages. Their strength is their desire to ensure you can enjoy your time while there. They have great attention to detail. Got a free upgrade to the presidential suites at the top floor of the building. Very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, valet parking on site. Not too far from the old colonial section. Friendly staff.

This place may be the best comfort/location/price deal you can get in the zona colonial. The staff is super nice, and I really appreciated their flexibility with my late booking(s) and late check-out. They have a lovely patio upstairs where you can chill / read/ stay (the rooms are quite dark). The availability of Netflix on the TV is a plus. The breakfast, which is included, is lovely and I appreciated the hot drinks station available all day. It's a typical zona colonial building with a ton of charm, special mention to the flamingo pool float! ;-) The code to enter the hotel at anytime is practical, and so is the absence of physical key (again a code) to enter your own room! I love the books at disposal, too.

The friendliness and efficiency of the team at Barcelo Santo Domingo was beyond great! Starting with Miss Handy Peña at the front desk in reception! She is amazing!!! Handy efficiency gone the extramile to acomodate my personal needs and to make sure I enjoy my stay. Another super start was Aurelio from the guys helping with bags... He was also very helpful, friendlyl and a great listener! The Bed and the cleanness of the room 602 was fantastic! Right up to the level of class of the Hotel.
