Staff were very friendly but the restaurant staff were inexperienced and frankly some of them didn't have a clue. Although they were lovely and falling over backwards to help, they really need some effective supervision and training, bless them!

We took our little dachshund Bertie with us to Makeney for the first time. We were very pleased with our courtyard room and we were all cosy and warm. The staff were all lovely, it was very peaceful and Bertie loved his walks around the beautiful grounds. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable and large. The breakfast was excellent.
