A very good room and Bathroom. The were fresh flowers and a complimentary bottle of water. They even put a flower on the tray with the breakfast!

The staff in the bar were really nice and a pleasure to interact with (young local lady and the man was from Brazil if I remember correctly). I really liked the bathroom consumables such as shower gel, soap etc very nice smelling. Location is very convenient for anything that you might need to go out and get. Carpark is very spacious and easy to park in once you find it, which isn't so easy as the hotel postcode doesn't actually guide you there on a SatNav.

Lovely old fashioned pub that had been modistly furnished and well equipped. would have enjoyed it more had it not been raining the evening.

We'd visited Burghley House during the day, so this was the ideal place to stay on our way back to Belgium the following day. Room was very nice and quiet; tea and coffee facilities; comfortable bed. Evening meal and breakfast were delicious. Staff very friendly, pretty surroundings.

We had a 2 night break, the location is excellent within walkig distance of the town centre and access to Burghley Park. Good parking. The staff were excellent, especially Bella who organised a change of rooms with less stairs. Millys restaurant was good, staff very helpful good breakfast , varied menu. Room comfortable nice toiletries and good shower. Fresh milk and plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. Overall an excellent stay.
