Great hostel on the way of the Ring road. The room is clean and private bathroom, friendly staff at reception but it is important to keep in mind that the reception is open until the specified hours. Good road to the hostel. There is no kitchen but there is a coffee corner where you can make coffee or tea, brew something with boiling water, for this there are dishes and cutlery, a kettle. I loved the hospitality and hygiene at Arnanes. Everything looked so clean and nice. And also the way the hotel is situated in nature is amazing. A great view upon the mountains, that's even more beautiful with sunrise and sunset! The owners were very friendly and always in for a chat, and even some sightseeing and aurora advice. Bonus for Dutch travelers: the owner also speaks a good amount of Dutch! I'm definitely coming back to this hotel if I visit Iceland again. Really enjoyed my stay there.
