Exceptional location - convenient because closer to bus as well as tram stop but also within a 10 minute walking distance to all the tourist destinations, pharmacy, grocery store, bars as well as Halal food options. The reception + staff were extremely polite and supportive - prepared a map to highlight the right locations to visit and transport to take there. Also, value for money was a 10/10! I will definitely book the same hotel on my next visit to Florence!

Oh my goodness, staying in a monastery from 1100 A.D. was simply magical! We were steps from everything we wanted to see in Florence. The morning breakfast was fabulous, and the nighttime bar was such a great place to unwind and chat with other visitors. Our concierge Eugenio gave us wonderful tips somewhere to go, Adam and L’ara were our bar keep friends who kept us entertained and educated, and the entire staff was perfecto!

I had a wonderful stay at “Residenza Marchesi Pontenani”! The location is absolutely perfect—just a few minutes away from all the main attractions, yet the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful despite being so close to the city center. Fabio, the owner, was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to assist us. When my mom’s backpack, which had the apartment keys inside, was stolen, Fabio provided clear instructions to access the apartment and even left new keys waiting for us at the door. His kindness and efficiency made a difficult situation much easier to handle. The apartment itself was spotless and well-equipped with all the necessary appliances, making our stay very comfortable. This was my first time in Florence, but it definitely won’t be my last! I will absolutely return and stay at “Residenza Marchesi Pontenani” again. Highly recommend!
