The apartment is a fantastically-restored stone building that is very tastefully decorated. Our bedroom boasted a bathroom with jacuzzi, and we had full access to the kitchen, dining area, and two sitting areas. We visited in winter and the apartment was toasty warm on arrival and throughout our visit. The view is from the top of the fortified city out to a forested valley and the large windows make the apartment bright and cheery despite being an older medieval-type building.

If you are looking for a quiet place to go, then this is it. It is close to Saturnia therme waters, a couple of minutes walking. Tasty wine from their own production and very good breakfast. Helpful staff and 5 cute cats:). Saturnia is a 3 km distance by car small city, where you can find local products to buy and delicious traditional food.

Most beautiful place, very quiet and peaceful. The atmosphere on site is magical, with apricot trees growing all around, timid geckos and lizards sneaking around. If you're lucky you'll get to watch the fireflies dancing to the starry night sky
