There were several "little nice surprises", like free weekly activities, wine tasting, vin brule, daily tea time in a very nicely decorated common space/room Excellent breakfast and very good dinners as well. Occasional dessert bufet / starter bufet as a part of dinner (too tempting, unfortunately) Nice wellness/spa area on the roof of the hotel

Professional staff, at the first evening we were asked whether which language we speak and than we got an English-speaking waitress. We have got personal "letters" each morning from we could know more about the weather and about places near San Candido. The view was wonderful from our window.

1. Rooms were having a small sit out area which is wonderful right? They were spacious, clean and had beautiful views. 2. Food - We booked the half board, and it was perfect. Not much options for vegetarian/ vegan but we have soup, ravioli and tiramisu. Everything was yummy. Not to forget the owner suggested us a white wine which was one of the best I had in Italy. Also, breakfast had lot of options and it was a buffet. 3. Staff - Wonderful staff and owners. They usually don't server dinner after 8PM but since we were arriving late they waited for us till 9PM and made some customisation to the dinner menu (I am a vegetarian and they usually don't have vegetarian menu).

I liked everything about this hotel, starting with the location (very good starting point to explore Lago di Braies, Tre Cime, Plätzwiese etc.), the coazyness of my room, and of course the hospitabilty of the owners, I immediately felt welcomed and taken care of. They also have very good restaurant and pizzeria, the pizza I had there was one of the best! All in all this hotel made my Dolomites trip even more perfect! Thank you!!!

I loved everything about my stay. From the minute I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and the sauna, wellness and relaxation facilities are exceptional. I am gluten free and had so many options. It is the perfect base for exploring the Dolomites.

The property is very traditional to the region, typical interior style, wood furnishings, very pretty. I had a bedroom overlooking the valley with a balcony, lovely to have the morning sun. The bed was very comfortable and the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The restaurant served very good food, evening meal and buffet breakfast. The staff were very attentive and relaxed.
